Absolutely by far the best campground I've ever been to. If you like a peaceful stay, Red Apple Campground is for you! Its cabins and campsites are surrounded by by trees for a secluded feel. The owners, David and Jane Berg, are wonderful and go out of their way to ensure you stay is perfect. It's apparent they take pride... More

As a second time visitor to Red Apple Campground, I highly recommend staying at this campground! Upon pulling in on the beautifully paved road, I was greeted with the sites of flowers, manicured lawn and friendly owners at the check in building. My friend and I stayed in the "New York" cabin which was extra clean and felt brand new... More

You don't have to be a "camper" to stay at Red Apple Campground. We spent 4 nights in one of the adorable cabins. Comfy beds, TV, AC, and a nice clean bathroom!! For those that do like to camp, the bath house is very clean and the grounds are beautiful and well kept. There is a little store with a... More

I just visited the Red Apple for the second consecutive year with a group of friends and it was just as wonderful as last year! David and Jane Berg are warm, welcoming and gracious hosts, so attentive to making sure everything was perfect for our stay! I admit to not being a hard core camper - I like the comforts... More

We pulled in and noticed right away how clean and manicured the campground was. We were in a rented camper without a towed vehicle. We parked and hooked up and realized we had forgotten to get vital supplies at the store. The owner came by to check on us and when we told him our situation, he loaned us his... More

Just came home from a fantastic vacation at the Red Apple Campground. This is the second year in a row that we have stayed there and we couldn't ask for anything more! First, the owners Jane and David Berg (as well as their German Shepard, Rocky) greeted us upon our arrival and made us feel at home. We had booked... More

Well worth the stay here. Very nice people that run it. They bent over backwards for us. Clean bathrooms and a very nice rec room. The only thing missing is a pool. If there was one you'd never get a spot there though. Sites are a little tight for large campers but if like city camping this is an awesome... More

Fantastic place to stay. The Red Apple is a great place to stay if you like a quiet campground. There is a mix of permanent seasonal sites, rental cottages and transient sites. This is best maintained c/g we have stayed at and we travel a lot. The bathrooms are meticulously cleaned and maintained. The grounds are well landscaped and beautiful.... More

I am writing this review strictly from a parents (with small children) point of view. Customer service and cleanliness were top notch. This campground has what appeared to be mostly seasonal older campers. There were only a handful of children and the kids play area is dated. Unlike many, we do not like to rough it while camping. We day... More

Just happened upon this place and took a look at one of the cabins. It was adorable! Had flat screen tv, a/c fridge, front porch with rocking chairs, nice bathroom and it was spotless! The kids loved it. It was my kind of "camping"!
