We loved it as soon as we pulled up to the resort. What a view. The town was so cute. Best lobster dinner at Mabels Lobster Claw. The room was cozy. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom. Everyone was so friendly. My husband enjoyed talking to ken the handy man.

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Old Fort. The front desk staff was pleasant and offered us a welcome glass of champagne. The lobby is nicely decorate and felt very cozy with a small bar, a pool table, a fireplace, and several sitting areas. We were shown to our room past a pool which was closed when... More

Dear CMPVacation Thank you very much for the great and detailed review of our resort. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and many thanks for all the great information you provided. Our maintenance checked out the air conditioner and also found it to be noisy. We apologize for that. It has been sent off for repairs... More

We loved our night at the " Old Fort Inn" Had a fabulous breakfast at the Cape Arundel Ocean restaurant. The view was awesome. As bikes were provided for guests we took a nice ride to the entrance of the Bush's summer home and the lovely St. Ann's Episcopal Church. The little village of Kennebunkport is quaint but a little... More

We just happened to be driving around with no real plans for the night when we came upon the hotel. It was very beautiful and right on the ocean. We decided to pop in and check availability and rates. To our suprise, it was affordable and available. The staff was very kind and accommodating. We stayed in the Inn and... More

The Cape Arundel area of Kennebunkport is FABULOUS!!! Beautiful ocean views as well as lovely home sites to walk by. And don't forget the view over to Walker Point, summer home of the George Bush family! The little village can actually be a tad touristy....lots and lots of shops with stuff that says Kennebunkport on it. Glad we were not... More

Booked Old Fort Inn. What a pleasant surprise to find out that our breakfast was at Cape Arundel's Ocean restaurant each morning. Fabulous breakfast with an ocean view. While our room was at Old Fort Inn, with a swimming pool and pool table, we could use all the amenities at Cape Arundel as well. Two inns in one!! It was... More

I really wish that there was a 4 1/2 star rating. This is not a 5 star review because of a very few nit picky things that could have been better, but it is a very nice place to stay with incredible views and an excellent restaurant. Being nit picky, we found that the front desk was unattended a couple... More

This is our fourth visit to Cape Arundel Inn. Our room had a spectacular view. We could sit on our deck and drink in the beauty. This year we had to pay a resort fee, and we did know that before we went. We asked why they added it and did not get a clear answer. We really do not... More

We had dinner at the Inn! Fabulous and great view! Did not stay there. Service was excellent and we got a corner window seat overlooking Walker Point! We beat the crowd by going at 5:30, but you should call well in advance for reservations. The online system did not work.

We spent 2 wonderful days at the Cape Arundel Inn. We would love to have stayed much longer! The staff went out of their way to address our special mobility needs - for example, providing steps to help us getting in and out of the rather high (but wonderfully comfortable) beds. À la carte breakfasts (included) and dinners in the... More
