Traveled on December 7th, 2014 and stayed at the Kennebunk Inn. We were in town for the Christmas Prelude events. Generally speaking, if you understand that this place is an Inn (an old Inn) and not a hotel or motel that will help you to not be disappointed. The actual building is a very old, old home, that many years... More

We stayed two nights at the Inn it was the last weekend of November. We were quite disappointed, the bathroom was in dire need of a modern shower and the water pressure was really low not to mention getting hot water for a shower. The room was adjacent to a public skating rink with loud music until late in the... More

We made a reservation at the Kennebunk Inn thinking it was the Kennebunkport Inn. That was a huge mistake. Our room had no accessible outlets for charging phones, etc and the shower was very small with exposed rusted pipes in the ceiling. Needless to say, we turned in our key and found somewhere else to stay.

Along with another couple, my husband and I reserved a suite for Sept 19th and the 20th @ a cost of $ 408.00 total for the 2 nights. We booked the suite, with the understanding it was 2 bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds and one with queen size bed. When we were taken to the room the first thing... More

We passed through Kennebunk and stopped at the Inn as it was late and dark. We would not stay again. The hotel looks nice and well maintained on the outside. However on the inside it really is in a dire need of an update. Sorry to say this but it is just not worth the money. Everything looks worn and... More

The room was cold and noisey due to dated air conditioning unit badly fitted into the window which did not close. The bathroom was horrendous and very little hot water. Staff were non existent and when were around we're disinterested. The room was very overpriced and we were very glad to move on.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Kennebunk Inn. The room was dirty, unkept and in need of painting. There was no shower drain cover and just an opening to the drain pipe. The Inn advertised a restaurant but it was closed the two days I was there. I would not recommend this location to stay if you're... More

This is a very quaint, historic inn. Loved the charm! No elevator, but expected of a place dating back to 1799! Customer service is great, wonderful little bar on property, and a clean yet quaint room. Loved the Kennebunk inn!!

Focus is on restaurant not the inn. Overpriced, NOISY! construction site next door with back parking lot as main access point for crews & all inn/restaurant deliveries. Our room #4 was pet friendly, located beside unlocked 24/7 access doors (for deliveries). Beds need updated...noisy springs mattress, bedding should be duvet, not a tangle of sheets. No breakfast, not even water,... More

I only write a review when an establishment is very good or very bad. And, having worked at a few hotels years ago, I'm usually very forgiving. I could have overlooked the tiny tv with no reception, the creaking floor boards, the run down room. I would have been ok with the fact they never mentioned the construction site right... More
