Focus is on restaurant not the inn. Overpriced, NOISY! construction site next door with back parking lot as main access point for crews & all inn/restaurant deliveries. Our room #4 was pet friendly, located beside unlocked 24/7 access doors (for deliveries). Beds need updated...noisy springs mattress, bedding should be duvet, not a tangle of sheets. No breakfast, not even water,... More

I only write a review when an establishment is very good or very bad. And, having worked at a few hotels years ago, I'm usually very forgiving. I could have overlooked the tiny tv with no reception, the creaking floor boards, the run down room. I would have been ok with the fact they never mentioned the construction site right... More

As long as you don't mind the stairs to the rooms, a full of character hotel. Bed comfortable but the claw foot bath is too small to bathe in and the plumbing is old but works. Antique furniture, well polished and beautifully clean. Downsides - no breakfast facilities, no lift, no hangers in the wardrobe and our room next to... More

We were very disappointed with the size of the room and the attitude of the manager. It was very over priced and not a good experience. The wifi did not work well and the air conditioner was so loud that we could not hear the tv. We were shocked at the rudeness of the manager!

On the plus side, the location was convenient to things, the bathroom was fresh and clean. On the other hand, the wallpaper, floors, etc. were very tired and the room lay-out was weird. If we had paid half as much as we had to for this room, we would have been much more satisfied.

We read lots of negative reviews of this hotel and almost changed our booking. In the end we decided that we would give it a try. It is an old, charming building in a great location in a lovely town. Yes it has sloping floors and old style furniture and fittings but that is part of its charm. We thought... More

it's a very nice historical hotel in a small town. The lobster pizza and lobster pot pie are tasty and fresh. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly. The downside are that there is no lift in the hotel and a construction is right next to the hotel. Don't think you can stay around when they are working!

My husband and I stayed here and had a nice time. We booked through a travel agency. We thought we were staying closer to the beach but the B&B was nice enough. The staff was friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for "beach" stay in Kennenbunkport.

We were there in 2011. Shabby chic but we loved it. By the way, we were in the attic. Staff was limited but more than accommodating. Always thought we would go back next time we are in the area. In the middle of downtown and convenient to everywhere. However, recent reviews are very disappointing. Hospitality enterprises can completely change overnight.... More

We decided to combine a Maine wedding with a short vacation. Knowing we were bringing my boyfriend’s dog made it challenging to find lodging in the Kennebunk area – so imagine my excitement when I found this “cute” inn on line. And, they had a dog friendly room that my boyfriend was able to book for our date. What a... More
