The King's Port Inn was exactly what I expected from a Maine hotel. A charming inn with solid wood furniture, a quaint lobby, and a cute breakfast nook. Nothing flashy or modern as it would not be fitting. The rooms are very spacious. My room had a king size bed and a decent size couch. Refrigerator also. The bed linens... More

Dear kstino, Thank you very much for staying at the King's Port Inn. We appreciate you noting our solid wood furniture. We do not use imitation wood furniture here at our inn. Our deluxe and jacuzzi rooms feature four poster cherry wood beds. We believe in providing quality furniture for our guests. Also, thanks for commenting on the spaciousness of... More

We stayed here one night on our annual trip to Maine and I'm glad we only booked one night. The room we received had an 80's look and was outdated. The only good thing about the hotel is the location, as it's very close to shopping, dining etc. The breakfast was good and that's the reason I'll give it three... More

Susannah, Hi, thank you very much for staying at the King's Port Inn. We are glad to see that you appreciate our hotel's location. It is true; we are a short walkig distance to all shops, restaurants, and activities in Kennebunkport. Perhaps our hotel offers one of the best locations in town for lodging. Many guests take advantage of this... More

We visited the Kings Port Inn last week with our children (ages 12 and 8). I'll start with the cons, so I end on a positive note! As mentioned in several reviews, the rooms are in need of updating and minor repairs (the trim in our shower had paint flaking off). The carpeting is dark and looks dated. The furniture... More

I was only here for one night for a meeting nearby. I guess if I was looking for a fun vacation location this would have been fine. The hotel is a bit worn around the edges. They had a large bar but no bartender so it was closed. Very odd for mid-August. My room in the back section was comfortable... More

We are also an exceptional value. When our bartender is not here during weeknights, please order at the front desk! Our front desk associates are more than happy to... More

We stay at King's Port Inn at least twice a year. We always stay in the rooms that are in the main building. The beds are so comfortable and there is a small refrigerator too. The room comes with a continental breakfast which includes waffles which are made while you wait. They are great! The location is also great -... More

Dear Wayneandamada59, We truly appreciate your kind words! We appreciate your business and look forward to your future visits! This was a stop gap on way to Bar Harbor. Kennebunkport is gorgeous and we all loved it & wished we had a longer stay. The Inn is a bit out dated & unglamorous but spotlessly clean, in a great position & super reasonable and even offered waffles made to order as part of their complementary breakfast offer!

The address for this motel is Kennebunk, but it is 100 yards from Kennebunkport, which is great. The motel is very well maintained, not too expensive. The small town of Kennebunk is a few miles inland from here and is not the beautiful port town of Kennebunkport. The rooms are good and clean although old-fashioned. Free breakfast is good. Waffles... More

I stayed here two nights with my husband and two children (5 and 6). My husband, who can be a tough critic, was impressed by the value we got here. This hotel is a good value; it has a great location with an easy walk across the small bridge into Kennebunkport and the shops and restaurants in Dock Square.
