Cannot tell you how great the Bufflehead Cove Inn is. Always a great and peaceful time. Location on the Kennebunk River is breathtaking. By far one of the most romantic places in ME. Aaron and Harriett are a joy to deal with and always extremely helpful but never intrusive. I always look forward to going again and again!

Hello Mihai P. Thank you so much for the complementary words. We always enjoy having you visit. I am also glad you like the Cove room and find it romantic. Right now with this foggy Maine weather we need some romance! We wish you a great winter and look forward to your next visit. Warm regards from all of us... More

We stayed in the Hideway room, which is totally private and quiet and in the middle of a beautiful garden. I loved being on the first floor and able to walk outside , sit in the lounge chair and enjoy the blue herons landing nearby. The inn is so close to bustling center of town, yet so quiet, peaceful and... More

We were only able to book one night here and we soo wished we could have stayed for more. The inn is the perfect combination of warm welcome and privacy. It feels like you've come home to your favorite relatives house and you begin relaxing immediately. Erin and Paige were so warm and fun, the breakfast served on the veranda... More

My husband and I spent five days at Bufflehead Cove Inn, and by day five we were already planning to come back for our anniversary! It's located about 1.3 miles outside of "downtown" Kennebunk/Kennebunkport. I was charmed from the moment we arrived. From the enchanted setting right on the cove to the delightful breakfasts and the friendly, accommodating staff, it's... More

Pleasant staff to greet us, yet we felt a quiet sense of privacy to enjoy the beauty of the well appointed house and property. One became aware of the surrounding song of birds, as well as the well kept gardens that caught the eye.. The culinary servings more than delighted the palate, as they were a picture of beauty in... From the moment you arrive, the small family-run inn lulls you into a relaxed pace. The home-cooked breakfasts on the veranda are culinary delights, the adirondack chairs along the tidal estuary invite you to sit and read, and the well-appointed rooms lull you into a very comfortable state of mind. The hosts are sources of advice about local restaurants, bike... More

The cottage at Bufflehead Cove Inn is a secret we shouldn't really share. Nestled in the trees on the banks of the creek it is hard to believe this quiet peaceful setting is just moments away from the busy hustle of Kennebunkport in Summer. Beautiful breakfasts on the veranda served by our delightful hosts. Thank you - We hope to... More

I really enjoyed my stay for a long weekend getaway. The owners are wonderful and inviting. The place is secluded yet close to everything. Extremely clean and the rooms was perfect (I stayed in the Balcony Room). The breakfast was amazing. If I had one concern (which was minor) was that you could hear music one night from the town,... This is a hidden gem, close to everything in Kennebunkport, but seemingly distant from all the hub-ub. One visit, and you'll be hooked. The owners are a family operation, and what friendly service they provide. Highly recommended for your visit to the Kennbunkport area.
