Wonderful place to stay - amazing views, accommodating staff. Had a direct ocean view room. Plenty of room, lots to see and do in the area. A great place to relax at the end of a hectic day of shopping, beaches, etc. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Loved the brandy, cookies, crackers & cheese served in the afternoon/evening. Stayed for... More

We went up for the Christmas Prelude weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The Beach House is about a mile from downtown Kennebunkport which meant peace and quiet on a busy weekend. It is something between a BnB and an inn which suited us perfectly - and accepts children which few places do in the area...Our queen room was quite... More

My friend and I stayed here while we were in town for Christmas Prelude. This is Kennebunkport's time honored celebration that welcomes the Christmas season with lights, parades and Santa arriving via lobster boat! The hotel location is about a mile out of town which was a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the festivities. Our spotless room... More

We spent 3 glorious and relaxing nights here while in town for the kennebunkport Christmas Prelude. What a lovely experience. Lovely rooms, friendly innkeepers. Breakfast was a surprise. Expected the bare minimum but was shocked at the lovely spread there was. Muffins, croissants, eggs, fruit, waffles, meats and cheeses. Out of this world blueberry muffins. Wished I could but a... I just returned from a delightful weekend stay at The Beach House. It was a last minute reservation and the Inn accommodated 3 of us nicely for our Ladies Weekend. (We wanted one room and they willingly put in a comfy cot.) The beds were really comfy and the amenities in the room were excellent. The breakfast includes the usual... More

It was most enjoyable to have the open porch to look out to the sea. You can enjoy a fine breakfast from the enclosed dining area while watching the waves at the same time. Afternoon snacks and refreshments were a nice compliment to a very restful commons area. Our room was very clean every day. While our room was not... More

We had a lovely stay at the Beach House Inn –the location is on the shoreline which made for stunning sunrises and sunsets when we were there ( mid Oct) . Service was outstanding – everyone was friendly – offered us restaurant recommendations, printed out maps to nearby farms for apple picking etc. You can hear the sound of waves... More

Absolutely the worst stay I have had in 20 years in any hotel. I can handle a B&B and have stayed in many. I can even handle something dated but this was well beyond dated. You can see from my other reviews I do not slam companies all the time. Here are some of the issues we experienced: 1. Water... More

We stayed here in September, it was peaceful with beautiful views from the front porch where we ate a lovely breakfast. Our room was cozy and had all the comforts of home. The staff was very accommodating.

Beautiful location, adequate room, attentive staff. Modest breakfast, but great waffles. Close proximity to Kennebunkport and nice evening reception was included. We will be back to this charming bed and breakfast.
