We stayed here for only one night and did we ever wish we could have stayed in a place longer! Lovely hotel, beautiful room with an ocean view and the sea literally footsteps away from the front door. The staff were very welcoming and provided lots of local information. You can walk into the village of Kennebunk Port but it... More

We've stayed at this inn twice and have not been disappointed. Overlooks the water, easy walk to two Kennebunk beaches, easy drive to the charming shops and restaurants of Kennebunkport. We love the additional touches--coffee/tea available all day, cookies, cheese, and port in the evening, bicycles to borrow, etc. The breakfast, though called continental, was quite hearty as it included... This was a nice place to stay on our honeymoon. It was great to come during the week as it was quiet, we almost felt we had the place to ourselves. The morning breakfast is pretty basic, nothing too exciting. The afternoon cookies, crackers, and cheeses were nice. We enjoyed the lobby area as it had great views of the... More

When we arrived on Tuesday evening, we were greeted by Meaghan who was welcoming, full of information, and a constant source of helpfulness through out our two-night stay. We wanted to be by the sea. We needed to rest and relax after a particularly long stretch of tension and grief. We wanted to meander around town and explore all that... More

My spouse enjoys walking on the beach about as much as anything, so when there's a special occasion, I try to find a new place on the water to surprise her with. The Beach House was a hit. The inn was relatively quiet on a Sunday evening, and the location just across the road from the sea wall and just... More

We stayed for a long weekend at this Inn and we really enjoyed our visit. The location of this property couldn't be better, it has a direct view of the ocean. Our room which was located on the top floor faced the ocean, and we would open the windows and soaked in the sounds and smells of the beach. The... More

This was our second fall time visit only this time we were part of a nor-easter visit! The weather was wet and windy yet we enjoyed every minute of our Beach House visit. The waves were 10 -12 feet high and coming over the break wall -- such fun to watch from the living room. Town was out early the... More

What a fabulous weekend we just had there! The atmosphere was low-key and just perfect to every detail of the decor, and the way the space was used. There is a fireplace inside with remarkably comfortable couches, and there are lots of chairs for reading, overlooking the ocean across the street. You can also sit outside by a fire, and... More

Perfect ocean view setting for this small, friendly traditional bed and breakfast hotel. Set opposite a beautiful beach this was ideal for an early morning walk before breakfast or sitting in the garden watching the waves in the afternoon with complimentary port and cheese. The log fire in the lounge created a cosy atmosphere with ever changing sea views. Our... More
