WE stayed one night each in a series of properties on the Maine Coast as we travelled south. Jonesport is a small fishing village/town - which is the right word depends where you are coming from, but it doesn't matter. There are some old and attractive houses (of which Harbor House is one, and the house next door has recently... More

Breakfast and rooms were terrific and the hosts were personable and gracious. It's true that the town is very small, but we went there to see the Great Wass Island Nature preserve and other scenic sites in this coastal area. We did not expect lots of shops and eateries (though the Lobster roll at the nearby Bayview Takeout is hard... More

First , if your cellular provider is AT&T/Cingular, you will have no coverage!. The B&B is ok in itself BUT, the broucher is a total fabrication by the owners. Jonesport, ME is a small, fishing AREA. This is not a town as most of us invision. There is NO small main street with art galleries, antique shops, etc. There are... More

We like this traditional B&B...located in a small working lobster town in Jonesport, ME. If you want to see true coastal Maine this is a great place for it. Great value, standard/fairly basic rooms. Innkeepers are nice and extremely helpful...really go out of their way to ensure you have options on how to spend your day...they are very well versed... More

I'm on two minds writing a review of this lovely property because I think the owners, despite all their warm hospitality and conscientious manner, would rather see Jonesport remain the secluded, quiet, un-touristy and absolutely charming place that it is today. We stayed in the "Rose" room, and the theme is pervasive: it's found on wall paper, pictures, bedspreads and... More

My husband and I just stayed for 2 nights at the Harbor House. Our room overlooked the port and we watched the lobster boats come and go. Jonesport is a quaint town with 1 restaurant and a few sights to see in the fall. We called in advance and the restaurant owner walked across the street and picked up a... More
