Found these rustic cabins in Jackman area. Pet friendly to boot which we needed. Sleeping quarters can be tight in some of the cabins but they are well set up. Owner did not even take a deposit and so far we have not even seen him. Full kitchen, warm shower, good size tv. Wi-fi can be spotty but not hard... More

We stayed in Big Wood cabin , a large (sleeps up to 13, I think) cabin with its own frontage and a nice balcony front and back. Facilities are basic but adequate but could be cleaner with "nicer" bedding. Only 1 small loo downstairs & upstairs but the shower was hot and good. We were given a good supply of... More

My family stayed here for a few nights in June 2015. We had a very good time. The owner is very friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated that. He was kind to our son, giving him a special discount on a hat he really wanted that was being sold in the office. That kind of personal touch made a good... More

Never expected just a cabin in the woods to be so clean. Our cabin had plenty of room for our family. The owner provides things like kayaks for you to enjoy. The water is beautiful. This was a nice place to visit for a quiet vacation.

My wife and I recently spent the night in Sally Mountain Cabins (Paddle Inn). We wanted to check it out before our children and grand-children arrive to stay there with us in about a month. Wow! We are very impressed and can't wait to go back. What a jewel! The cabins are very clean and comfortable. We didn't have to... More

This was a multi-generational trip---my husband and myself, our son and daughter-in-law, and our two grandchildren, ages four and five (along with one Chihuahua, one English mastiff, and one Jack Russell Terrier). Everyone involved had a great time. The cabins are comfortable and very clean, the owner is very attentive to your needs (we asked for some wood to be... More

The cabins are rustic, but have everything you need. My wife and I (and both of our teenage kids) loved the place. The wifi is good (get a cabin close to the office to be able to access it from your cabin.) Do not expect cell reception, although some people with Verizon were okay. Corey, the guy who runs the... We've stayed at Sally Mountain Cabins every other year for several years now. I used to stay nearby when I was a child and I wanted to share the lovely area with my own children. Corey is a wonderful host and the cabins are wonderful. Not luxurious but well equipped and cozy. Spotlessly clean. The lake is wonderful and the... More

The cabins are clean and comfortable. All have a bathroom and kitchen to make staying a week or so, very family easy. The lake front, is for fishing and boating and swimming and especially for the nightly bon fire, should a group decide to light one. It's a small town with great small home cooking restaurants you walk to. Bring... More
