We stayed at a Cabin at the Mountainview Resort in July...the cabin is great very roomy, 3 spacious rooms and a loft with futon and fireplace...comfortably sleeps 8 or 10 using pull out sofaabin is very rustic feel and decorated with the same style...everything was kept very clean...we were very impressed...only downfall is no air conditioning (which did not bother... If you're searching the Web like we did to find a hotel for a stopover on the way to Quebec City then this is the place for you. It's clean. The staff is very nice. It's not a 5 star business traveler's hotel though. Those don't exist in jackman. Jackman the town is a dump, by the way, but this... More

Beautiful cabin, friendly helpful staff. Joanne was a great help to us. We had an issue with the oven not heating but that was handled promptly by maintenance. Amenities were sufficient. It would help if they furnished boxes of tissue. Since it's a log cabin there's not any soundproofing between upstairs and downstairs, so watch what you say if staying... More

We stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin that exceeded our expectations. It was sparkling clean, very, very large (probably around 2,000 sq feet) and absolutely beautiful. The cabin included a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a small den with two rocking chairs, a wrap around deck and living room with two sofas and tv. The master bedroom bathroom was... More

Best staff around. The indoor pool has been remodeled and a lot of work went into it. The units and cabins have great views. Best place to stay in Jackman. There is now wifi in all the cabins and units. Mountain View is a timeshare but also has rental units like any other resort with out the sales staff to... More

We wanted to trade our timeshare somewhere in Maine where we could see some wildlife and have a little r & r after a hectic week in Canada. What a wonderful surprise. We stayed the first night in room 7 - the moose room and the nights after that in room 5 - the rabbit room. Both rooms were very... More

My husband and I typically take tropical vacations in the winter. This year, we're expecting a baby and decided to save some $$ and vacation in our own state. We reserved a cabin at Mountainview Resort and had a great relaxing vacation. Was it cold, yes, but we knew that before going and made the best of it. The cabin... More

I am a timeshare owner here since 1998 and still love coming here for the peace and quiet. Life has gotten so hectic it's nice to know there is still a place like this to go to help me unwind. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Comfortable cabins and condo units as well. In town Jackman offers a local... More

the cabins were very spacious with 3 bedrooms, very beautiful in side nice deck outside if only the cut a few trees the view would be spectacular, also for an inn seasons resort it would be nice to have wireless internet in the cabins, it is available in the lobby which is very outdated. it is a nice getaway not...
