We stayed two days at this overpriced motel as I was peforming a graveside service for my wife's 101 year old Aunt. . Our stay was a disaster. The in room fridge did not work. When I complained, they said they had no spares. Our room only had one bath towel and hand towel. The breakfast was several grades below... More

In planning a 23 day road trip from Miami to Maine and the Canadian Maritime Provinces we needed to line up pet friendly hotels in advance as we travel with Neemo the wonder dog. On the trip back from Cape Breton Island we planned to cross the border at Woodstock/Houlton. In checking for pet friendly accommodation for Houlton on line,... More

Great location to enjoy the huge snow fall this year with my skidoo. Clean room and a good breakfast. What more do you need? Staff were friendly and helpful with directions about snowmobile trails in the area. Breakfast was good for a motel, not fine dining but they offered a good selection of all the usual stuff. Could offer a... More

We stayed in the newer remodeled section and rooms were clean quiet and comfortable a plus was the attached pub after a family wake it was nice to grab some apps and drinks. Wings were excellent. We will definitely stay there again!

Stayed here for 1 night on a return trip to Canada. It was very clean, quiet and the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The room is basic, very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was filling and plentiful. We went to the pub for an evening drink. They were trying out a new menu and did not have full... More

We stayed for one night in late September. The room was large, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. There was a sink in the bedroom with a small counter, as well as in the bathroom which was a nice surprise. Even though there are few motel choices in Houlton, this would be a good choice under any circumstances. The bar was... More

What a friendly receptionist!! She assured us that someone would be available all 24 hours to help in any way. The room was average, was clean but could use some updating. One of the mattresses sagged a bit in the middle. The tub area had a little mold and the bath mat should be replaced. One big plus was having 2... More

Clean, convenient, and safe. Local helpful desk person. Within walking distance of a 24/7 truck stop diner that serves up breakfast anytime as well as other diner food at a reasonable price. Just stayed there one night on way to Nova Scotia. Free breakfast was well intentioned and with just a little care could be outstanding. Would stay there again.

I had to go up to Houlton on business and there is only a couple of places to stay. I use to stay at the place across the street but figured I would give this place a try and I am glad I did. The hotel is spotless. The rooms were neat clean and spacious. The only reason I knocked... More
