Beautiful home, with a gorgeous room! Yummy breakfasts! Friendly, helpful hosts! Quiet street, and a short walk down to the coast for views of water, boats, and islands. We loved the guest refrigerator and the never-ending-cookie-jar! (And talk about service -- The bed was very uncomfortable for my hubby the first night, and they changed the mattress for us!!) Thoroughly... More

From the endless cookie jar to the wonderful breakfast to the amazing view to the so comfortable bed and beautiful room our night at the Harpswell Inn was great! Super friendly owner/operators that were very knowledgeable about the area -- be aware they do NOT take AMEX

My girlfriend and I work very crazy schedules so I was looking for a place to get away from the rat race where we live. I have never stayed at a inn/ B&B and have heard mixed reviews about them in general but I took a shot on the Harpswell. It was the best shot I've taken in a while.... More

Innkeepers are very friendly and accomodating. We forgot to notify them in advance of food allergies and they were very receptive to our needs. The rooms are gracious and comfortable. We stayed in the Rackliffe which was wonderful on the first floor and a gas fireplace. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds are beautiful. Harspwell is a beautiful town worth just... More

I would highly recommend this inn to stay at, It has a lot of charm and the owners are very friendly and warm, and make you feel welcome here. The rooms are very clean, and I would definitely stay there again while visiting Maine

The building and grounds at Harpswell Inn are beautifully maintained, which adds to the incredible natural beauty of its setting on Lookout Point. We were looking for a stopping place between Nova Scotia and New York that felt "out-of-the-way" but that wasn't really too "out-of-the-way." We also wanted to kayak. Harpswell Inn was perfect! Only a half hour from 295,... More

My wife and I have traveled the Maine coast for decades, but one area we had missed is the fingers isles, just minutes south of Brunswick. We followed the winding road (Route 123) halfway down to the road leading to the Harpswell Inn, a splendid huge home on property dating back to 1761. We were warmly greeted by the owners,... More

The Harpswell is a beautiful inn with lovely views of the ocean. The Captain's Suite is a bargain for the comfort and seclusion is offers. The gregarious Innkeepers are friendly and very helpful with suggestions for good places to eat and day trips. We are almost hesitant to write a review, because we want to keep it to ourselves!

The inn offers several cottages to rent as well. We stayed in a charming one bedroom cottage by the water. Hosts were pleasant and the host gave us a nice introduction to local attractions and dining. Since they don't provide breakfast to the cottages, interaction with them was limited. Cottage has a kitchenette and a gas grill. Relaxing location. Provided... More

We were looking for a great place to stay without being in a tourist mix and with the help of a Facebook friend, we found it. We stayed in one of the cottages right on the cove and loved it! Great scenery. The cove is a great place when the tide is in to wade in and explore. The town... More
