Our recent vacation to Hancock, Maine was a truly wonderful experience for us, as well as our two Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs, Taki and Lily! Karen and Ed Curtis, proprietors of the Three Pines Bed and Breakfast and Farm have managed to combine exceptional hospitality with well appointed and comfortable accommodations. Waking up to breathtaking views of Frenchman's Bay, followed by... more

Just a little tip to know if you stay at Three Pines Bed & Breakfast. ....the inn keepers failed to tell us. If you stay for more than one night you don't get your room "freshened up". The bed isn't made or the bathroom cleaned up for you when you come back to the B&B after a day out sight... more

We normally prefer larger inns or hotels if we're not renting a cottage, but after seeing the great review in the Boston Globe and a good blurb in a guide book I decided to give the B&B thing one more try and book the first two nites of our anniversary trip to Maine at Three Pines. We were looking forward... more

Three Pines is unique - only two guests rooms and very ecologically "green," Breakfast wad terrific and Karen was extremely accomodating. The room was a bit on the small side with poor ventilation - bad weather kept us from employing the breeze off the water. No TV or wireless conncection lets you leave the rest of the world behind but... more

My sister and I stayed at Three Pines for a spring break getaway. We had a wonderful time. The location is so beautiful and peaceful! Karen is a fantastic host and the first was first class - felt like a gourmet restaurant. We would recommend Three Pines to anyone who is looking to get away and be one with nature.... more

Karen is wonderful. She was so attentive and even had special treats for our dog Chipie! The food was delicious, the bedroom perfect, and the scenery gorgeous. We were also able to do canoeing and kayaking on the bay, which was so much fun! We also thoroughly enjoyed the fresh vegetarian food and the fact that Karen's house and the... more

My husband, two children and I stayed in this cozy and quiet coastal B& B for three nights and had a fabulous time. We highly recommend it! The rooms are cozy, the view is spectacular, the service is excellent and the food is fantastic. The delicious breakfasts are prepared using mostly locally grown or harvested ingredients. The off-the-grid living and... more

When you go to Maine, there is no shortage of places to stay. Three Pines is however, by far the best place to stay. I recently booked a honeymoon for my new wife and I and wanted to stay somewhere off the beaten path. I found this on Travelocity.com and booked it. It was one of the best moves I've... more
