Chalet Moosehead Lakefront Motel is a great seasonal place to stay while visiting the Moosehead Lake/Greenville area. This two-floor motel is open May-October and is a very popular place to stay during the summer, especially during July fourth. There are three different types of accommodations: standard, efficiency and balcony (luxury). Both standard and efficiency rooms allow dogs for an extra... More

The wife and I have stayed at this motel for the past two years that we've been coming to Greenville. The rooms are very cozy, beds are comfy, and the view is amazing! If we aren't out on one of the many adventures the you can partake in in the area, we will just sit out on the balcony or... More

Was here 2 weeks ago and had a very pleasant stay. If you like to fish, this place is perfect. Tie your boat up out front at the lake-side slip. The rooms are better than what you would expect for the price. Complete with a fridge to keep your goodies cold. It's so nice here, try not to get distracted... More

Just came back from our 2 days fishing trip. We were staying in suite #5. This unit has 2 rooms with 3 beds. Perfect for 3 guys.Water view from the window was lovely.Room furniture is old and basic but what to expect when you are paying $100 per night for waterfront property. Room was very clean!!! Front desk lady was... More

Chalet Moosehead was what we wanted as a four night stop in our family vacation. Superb view from our first floor balcony in what seems to be the newer of two buildings. Rooms with what is needed and enough space to move around. Good base for hikes, boat trips, moose safaris and what have you in this beautiful piece of... More

I recently spent several nights at this property. The motel is in a beautiful setting at the south end of Moosehead Lake. My room was clean and I enjoyed the view of the lake from the balcony. The grounds are immaculately kept and it was fun to watch the float planes taking off and landing. That being said, I have... More

We stayed for one night in July. This motel is older but very clean and quiet. The rate was reasonable and close to the center of town. We were able to check in a bit early giving us more time to relax and go into town. I would recommend this motel for its cleanliness and rate.

Girls vacation of all the New England states, brought us to the Chalet, yes the place is dated, but we had a fridge, and free coffee at the office in the morning. The best part was canoes and paddle boats we could take out on the lake, which was fun. The area is beautiful, and we did take a drive... More

This review is long overdue. This is a beautiful location and the stay was overall a good one back in August 2008 but the man who tended the check-in counter had a very ugly demeanor. Be forewarned about him. Not only was he unfriendly when we checked in but once we got up to the room we had difficulty with... More
