Stayed here for 1 night whilst travelling from Portland to Quebec City. Used the Canoe, they provide buoyancy aids and paddles (knowing how to paddle a canoe helps, if the wind is blowing the wrong way you *could* get into difficulty). Loved the view from the room overnight, lost count of the number of shooting stars seen. Couldn't be any... more

We stayed here last week, my family and I. The room was immaculate and the grounds are beautiful. My kids enjoyed the paddle boats and the canoe. The beds are very comfortable, pillows are nice and fluffy, bedding spotless. My only regret was that I didn't have any fishing gear with me. There are chairs set about that are great... more

Was looking for a quick weekend getaway to beautiful Moosehead Lake and town of Greenville, Maine. Had driven past many times in the past and was never impressed. But Chalet Moosehead Lakefront Motel still was not worth the C-Note dropped here. The online site had shown a "New" annex with larger rooms and whirlpool tubs and a private balcony. Decided on the spur of the moment to hit Moosehead Lake and ended up here following a scan thru the AAA TourBook. What a find.
