Clean, comfortable rooms with a fantastic view of Moosehead Lake. The motel is older, but well-cared for. Rooms have flat screen TV with a decent selection of cable channels, WiFi and even a Keurig. It is also very quiet and has a large well-plowed parking lot for your trailer if you're up snowmobiling; which by the way is excellent in... More

Was lucky to get a room here for Valentine's Day week-end/School vacation. Woman at the desk was wonderful when we arrived Friday afternoon - asking if we had reservations for dinner (something I completely forgot about), then recommending Kelly's and called in our reservation for us!! After some friendly conversation, we went to our room - beds are VERY comfortable... More

I really like these Mom & Pop drive up motels. They remind me of my childhood. You drive up to your room, back up to your door and unload your car to a clean, air-conditioned, homey room, comfortable mattress and practical bathroom. This style Motel is no longer available in large cities where hotels are on their way to installing... More

This is not a high end hotel. Just the basics. Comfy bed. Free Wifi. Keurig coffee maker in the room. You can see Moosehead Lake about 2 miles away. The room had recently been updated. New hardwood floor. New paint. New windows. Very tidy and clean. The lady in the office is incredibly nice and helpful. However, it's very noisy,... More

Dates of Stay: Monday, September 16th - 18th, 2013 Location: The Indian Hill Motel sits atop a hill just as you come into Greenville. This classic hotel has views of Moosehead Lake from every room. Kathy and I stayed here overnite in October 2010. The view was fantastic. We even saw a young moose walk by the office window in the morning when we were having coffee...Great place to stay..The fall foliage was incredible...Moosehead Lake is breathtaking

We did the moose tour and therefore stayed across the street for convenience. It reminded me of the days of my family vacations back in the 50's or 60's. I mean that in the same way I think about a drug store soda fountain. I loved them, but they're almost extinct. This motel is not fancy, but is very nice,... More

My boyfriend and I went up to Greenville for the whitewater rafting this past weekend (6/15.2013). I coordinated the trip and hotel stay with Jessica, the owner of the Indian Hill Motel. She took care of everything...we had the most wonderful time. The rafting was excellent, the guides were awesome and made us feel safe, and we had lots of... More

This has got to be one of my all time favorites! We were going into Greenville, Maine (and you have to be going there, you won't just happen to be there) for the purpose of a photography canoe trip with a local outfitter. This little motel was listed directly across the street from our outfitters so we said, sure..why not.... More

Dear Janice, Thank you so much for your kind review. You are absolutely correct, our motel is over 60 years old! My husband and I just took over the motel less than a year and a half ago and little by little we have been trying to add simple things to each room to make it more comfortable. It's so... More

This was our first trip to the Moosehead area. The location was perfect for snowmobiling and very convenient to amenities. Jessica and Jeremy, the motel owners couldn't be nicer. They were very helpful in advising us on what to see on on snowmobile travels.
