Casey's campground gives my family unplugged time - No laptops (work stays home!), no TV. We docked our boat at the marina, fished and went for boat rides. Our site was on the point - beautiful views of both sunrise and sunset. Every night found us around the camp fire, talking and laughing. Ducks and ducklings made their rounds -... More

Having been at Caseys the same time as several of these negative ratings, I'm here to tell you the place is a hidden gem. Yes it's rustic and not for everyone. In other words its not a "resort" campground and doesn't pretend to be. If you want to experience pure Maine beauty and all the wildlife this is your kind... More

My wife and I enjoyed a quiet couple of nights along Spencer Bay. We camped next to the boat launch, which offered stunning views, and had a lot of activity during the day. At night, it was as quiet as could be. It was fun watching the comings and goings of the boaters and kayakers. Sarah and the staff were... More

Our family and five other couples went on our annual group camping trip to this site. The combined accommodations cost over $500.00. We are a very respectful group of travelers ranging in age from 24-50. Our first night there, we were sitting around the fire talking when the owner barged right in telling us to be quiet. Someone in the... More

To start, nice location. We had spot centrally located, close to the bathroom and showers(by the way, showers take quarters only and are not always hot) funny how that is not on the website. Nice large field for kids to play, fire rings in each camp site, power and water at some sites. Nicely spaced sites from neighbors. Now, with that... More

I have never been to such a quiet, peaceful and relaxing campground before. The view is amazing as is the moose watching. The camp is very rustic but well maintained at the same time. Yes the powew is only on twice a day(as was made very clear to us when we made the reservations) and is more than adequate for... More

We showed up without a reservation and were offered our choice of available sites, all on Moosehead Lake. It is a very peaceful, quiet location with a nice walking path to a couple peddle beaches. You will hear loons for sure. We had two different moose sitings and heard another one barking (didn't know they did that) along the road... More

My husband and I stayed at Casey's Camp in August 2012. If you are looking for a beautiful no frills...no thrills vacation spot, then this is the campground for you. We enjoyed our stay there. The views are outstanding!!!! My husband and I have been camping for many years and have been to some very noisy campgrounds. Finally a place... More

This was our first trip to Moosehead lake, and we are so thankful to have found such a beautiful, peaceful place to call "home" for 5 days. Our site (B-20) was tight on the water with our own little pebble beach, great for launching a canoe, kayak or personal float. Shallow, but you can get out and swim with water... More

My husband and I just returned from a one-night stay at Casey's and had a wonderful time. We were a bit nervous, after reading the reviews here, but we didn't meet Casey himself and everyone we came across was pleasant. A helpful woman (I didn't get her name) checked us in and let us pick from available tent sites, which... More
