We had been going to Casey's for almost 20 years. Then, one year, Sarah (Casey's wife) accused us of leaving our cabin a mess. We typically spent about 1 hour going through the entire cabin, picking everything/anything up and sweeping and trying to leave it better than we found it. But, the final year we were checking out and she... More

To have a clean. Private campsite right on Moosehead Lake was just what we were looking for! If you want amenities like pools, arcades and kids activities, do not come here! It is a beautiful. Rustic campground. Power by generator for just a few hours each day. Awesome... Off the grid, and listen to the lions lull you to sleep.... More

What a jewel!!! We are so glad we discovered Caseys at Spencer bay campground. This is exactly what we are looking for when we head out to enjoy nature, solitude and the beauty of Moosehead Lake. Site was lakeside--- large and great views of the lake and mountains. Electric runs by generator am and pm and that is more than... More

We camped steps away from the lake! Absolutely beautiful! Pay for showers, have to put 4 quarters in & that was plenty for my shower. Showers only available from 7-10 am & 7-10 pm. Lights only on in shower/bath house from 7-10 pm, so if you go after 10 pm, take a flashlight! Campground seemed well maintained & quiet. Short... More

I have been coming here every year in July for the past 15 years since I was 2 years old. This campground is for the people who enjoy getting away from it all, the computers, the cell phones, and busy lives. That is all the owners try to do with their rules which, unlike some places, are enforced. The owners... More

What a great campground! We stayed here for several days last summer. I'f you're looking to get away and feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, this is the place. Friendly owners, great views. What more could you ask for?

Found this to be the most beautiful campsite ever! Had small children running around making noises as they do without problems. Found Casey and his wife to be gracious and accommodating as well as informative!

A few have written critical reviews of the owners , who we ourselves questioned a number of times during our two day stay here from Delaware . We value Tripadvisor and realize negative experiences are to be avoided planning getaways...............but we do not want to miss good experiences because of bad reviews . From our opinion we are glad we... More

I have waited several years to write this review because they had my card number and I feared reprisals. Our greeting was "You have teenagers? They had better be quiet! We don't tolerate loud teenagers." That should have been our cue to look elsewhere. Staff followed our kids around and harassed and insulted them constantly. If my kid is doing... More
