We visited Maynards Columbus Day weekend to hike leaf peep. It was the perfect family weekend, all meals were included so we could relax and enjoy the outdoors. The food was fantastic and the picnic lunches hit the spot while we were out hiking. Maynards is an old hunting camp not a Holiday Inn or chain motel, I will say... More

We stayed at Maynard's in Rockwood Maine for 3 nights in August. It is one of a host of New England resorts that was popular in the early 1900's-before the elite jetted across the pond to Europe for vacation. Our choice this year and for many years past is Maynard's, no contest. So... More

Spent the weekend at Maynard's and had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Small cozy cabins with bathrooms. The cabins were spotless when we arrived. Maynard's has a full meal plan if you want it. They cook a standard breakfast. Pack a lunch for the day in a cooler that you pick up at breakfast. Dinner was a choice of two items.... More
