Pictures can not give this property justice, I fell in love as soon as I stepped out of the car. The manager Chuck was extremely helpful and knowledgeable . We told him that we were interested in hiking and canoeing, he pointed out the numerous trails that lead right out of the camp itself, also the very short trail that... More

My husband and I just returned from a week at Little Lyford and were so happy that we went. The cabins are great-warm and comfortable, with a wood stove if needed. We had some cool nights, but never needed the stove as the cabin was so tight-no drafty old huts! The food was excellent, with home cooked breakfast and dinner... More

Don't think, just book this spot. Like moose? Hungry brook trout? Three square meals a day? Friendly staff? Camp camaraderie? All these's things and more await you at Little Lyford. Cabins are basic, but VERY comfortable. Food is amazing for being in the middle of the woods. Fly fishing is awesome. Wish I could go back more often.

This was my first time at LL. Up until now I had never heard of it. Located deep in the woods, it is very peaceful and serene. I came to do trail work with the AMC and had a wonderful time. The staff are great. The food is great. The accommodations are great. The local moose are great. The weekend... More

Once we'd arrived at Little Lyford (after a loooong drive) everything was wonderful: cabin was clean and comfy, staff was friendly and helpful, food was plentiful and tasty. We could pretend to ourselves we were "roughing it", but really there were many amenities provided even though this is a wilderness camp. 1 of us hiked the beautiful, well marked hiking... More

We spent the weekend at Little Lyford with a group of friends and our pups too! The trails were in excellent condition and well maintained. The food was delicious and the staff were comforting, welcoming and very friendly! The cabins are well maintained, clean, romantic and comfortable. The sauna was wonderful after a long day of skiing or snowshoeing. I... More

My eldest son and I did a three day hut to hut xcountry ski trip from the winter parking lot to Little Lyford then to Gorman Chairback then over Long Pond back to winter parking. Our heavier gear was shuttled so we only had to wear day packs. The trail is groomed but not tracked so metal edges improved performance especially... More

We spent a great week at Little Lyford Pond. All the hosts are very helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. They take time welcome you, and answer all your questions watching the stars drift across the evening sky. We had a wonder-full time

The AMC has taken hospitality seriously while maintaining a wilderness, rustic experience. Accommodation in winter included a sweet cabin without running water and a wood stove, and it all worked for us. Dinner and breakfast in the lodge with the other guests was a wonderful communal experience combined with excellent food. We have done many White Mountain AMC hut trips... More
