Just returned from our third visit in two years . We love the Kit Cabin! Always clean and ready when we arrive. Hosts are very friendly and attentive to our needs. My fiance and I were born and raised in Maine and love the rustic feel of the cabins. Beautiful scenery surround the waterfront cabins. Convenient for shopping in Greenville... More

Thanks Jeanna for the great comments. We look forward to seeing for the second time this year and will be ready to set some dates aside for a fall trip as well. See you soon. More

Very nice owners, lovely spot on Moosehead - dog friendly. Cabin okay (a little tired) but bedding (sheets, blankets) really bad. Strongly recommend one brings their own sheets, towels or sleeping bags. Cabins are very close to each other so if you're looking for real privacy this is not where you want to be, that said, convenient to Greenville with... More

Lovely owners ... Perfect location right on the lake ..... VERY tired cabins ..... But if you are fine with " extreme rustic" .. This is a great place ! Easy drive out to the lumber roads to look for moose and only six miles from metro- center Greenville .

We think we have the perfect place on the lake as as well. We appreciate your comments. We have been upgrading our cabins over the past few years and hope to have them all updated soon. More

Four of us travel to a different area in Maine every year and stay in a cabin, either near the ocean or on a lake. This year we decided to explore Moosehead Lake and made a reservation at Beaver Cove Camps. I must say that when we drove into the campground we were stunned!! It was most unattractive. It actually... More

Our experience with Beaver Cove Camps spans 6 years and 8 visits. We look forward to our trip to BCC each year with eager anticipation. We usually arrive with 15 to 20 of our closest friends for 3 days of icefishing, snomobiling and good times. The cabins are exactly what they should be, rustic cabins with no TV or modern... More

My wife and I recently traveled to Beaver Cove Camps to participate in a family reunion. We found that all aspects of the camp were really great. This is not a luxury hotel - it is a camp situated on the shores of Moosehead Lake. Very beautiful indeed. I found the proprietors to be most helpful and the facilities were... More

We had a group of about 30 stay at Beaver Cove camps in midJuly. The scenery is amazing, cabins were clean and well-kept, and we loved that they were located near each other, but not on top of each other. They are currently doing remodeling on some of the cabins, so depending on which you pick, some are more updated... More

We had a reservation for Friday and Saturday night of fly-in weekend in the Beaver Camp and immediately went to the office to see if we could stay two additional nights. The owner had thoughtfully moved his boat to a mooring as he knew we were bringing our Boston Whaler to visit Greenville for the fly-in and explore Lily Bay... More

This really is a perfect spot to vacation if you want to get out of the tent and have the luxury of a stove, fridge and bathroom. The hosts and their kids (and dog) are friendly and pleasent. However, at least the cabin we stayed in, needed major updating and MAJOR cleaning!. The knobs on the stove were sticky, the... More

We had a great 3 days at Beaver Cover Camps, really enjoying the 'get away from it all ' feel. The cabin served our purpose well - all we wanted was simple, clean accommodation so that we could relax. We rented canoes from Marilyn and spent a day on Moosehead near Sugar Island - eating our picnic lunch on our... More
