Upon arrival at my site, my daughter had the pleasure of setpping in dog feces! check in time 11:00 am/ check out 11:00am. where do the owners find time to clean sites in between guest arrival and departure? THEY DONT!. The trash cans were full of garbage that appeared to be there for at least a week, rotting in the... more

This will be our 4th trip to the greenville area. Staying at the moosehead lake family campgrounds. The owners are just wonderful people & we are so looking forward to our next vacation there this coming oct. 2003. As for the moose, my advice is to actively search the local ponds & bogs.
