As always we had a wonderful stay. This is truly a place to go for piece and solitude. Christy and Dana are great and they have made coming to Spencer Ponds like a home away from home. We only wish that we could come more than once a year. Worth every penny!! Marlene & Dave L

We have stayed at other rustic camps in this area but Spencer pond Camps tops them all. We stayed in Bemsis, which is perfect for a couple. The cabin was very clean, sunny in the morning and everything we needed but our food and clothing was there waiting for us when we arrived. The owners make it clear on their... More

We stayed in Bemsis, a delightful cabin. I truly like all the cabins, however. The owners are friendly, outgoing, and very accommodating. I cannot imagine a better experience anywhere else. I was amazed at the number of canoes and kayaks available to use. There are nearby trails for hiking and we also did some biking along the gravel roads and... More

Christine and Dana run a beautiful place , We stayed in The Cricket Cabin and absolutely loved it. The Fishing was wonderful, we enjoyed the view from the boat and Kayak's. This is a beautiful place to visit and the Cabin's are very clean and beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to be off... More

From the moment we ended the seemingly endless trip into the bumpy off road wilderness (after a rocky start and wrong turn - all our fault) and unloaded into the quiet solitude of the camp compound, it was evident that this was the tonic of peace and disconnecting from all that makes the mind buzz that we sought. The clear... More

This is truly the place to go if you want to experience maine north woods in its purest sense. We are frequent visitors to Spencer Pond Camps usually spending 3-4 days there. The camps sit on a pristine pond of approx. 750+ acres. The housekeeping cabins are more than adequately stocked with all necessary dishes, utensils, and cookware. Each cabin... More

Spencer pond camps is ran by wonderful people who allow you to enjoy this beautiful part of Maine, a true wilderness experience that you just don't find anymore. The cabins are rustic and quaint and are situated right on the water with your own dock. Canoes and kayaks are included which allows you to explore the pond and view the... More

My husband and I just returned from our second trip to Spencer Pond and it just keeps getting better. Two years ago we spent five days and this year we returned for nine. We just booked thirteen for the future. Spencer Pond is great for those who are looking for an off the grid experience where you can really get... More

We (a group of 7) stayed in the main lodge and were very impressed with the accommodations. It offered every possible amenity you could ask for if you're asking for rustic with no electrical distractions (we were). Christine and Dana were excellent hosts who went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasurable and relaxing. If you... More

We spent most of our belated honeymoon at the Lintongan cabin on Moosehead Lake and would return in a heartbeat! We canoed, hiked, swam, cooked up a storm, saw the most incredible sunsets, loons, butterflies, and barely any other people (occasional boaters or seaplanes on the lake). Christine and Dana have thought of everything to make the cabin comfortable and... More
