The Acadia View B&B is all that previous reviews have said -- incredible views, gracious hospitality, wonderful accommodations and lovely location. More in the outlying areas of Acadia National Park. We ran into rain, rain and rain on the few days we were there but we still managed to get around and the restaurants we visited were great. The innkeepers... More

We chose this B&B based on a Yankee magazine review and we are so glad we did. Stayed one night in their Cranberry Bay room. We chose this Bed & Breakfast because we wanted to spend a day touring the Schoodic Peninsula and Acadia National Park. Owner's Pat and Jim Close were very helpful in giving advice on a restaurant... The innkeepers thought of every detail in order to make our stay convenient and comfortable. They were very helpful with directions to restaurants and other destinations. The inn was immaculate. It is a newer building, not rustic. There are many creative touches on the property. It is evident that a considerable amount of effort has gone into the development of... More

We don't often stay at a B & B -- too often they are uncomfortably fussy and lack privacy. Not the case with Acadia View. It is a contemporary building that was built as a B & B. While it is furnished in a traditional style and there are plenty of antiques, it is bright and open and comfortable. Our... More

This was 'first class' at every step and every way. Beautiful house. Magnificent, some very valuable, objets d'art. You really feel like you are in a museum. Nice distant views across Frenchman Bay. You can sit on your private deck at night, ideally with a glass of wine, listen to all the critters chirping and see the lights of Bar... More

A quiet weekend away on the Maine coast, near Arcadia turned out to be perfect staying here. Beautiful rooms, great views and the perfect hosts. Add a breakfast that can't be beat and it was all we could hope for. If you are in the area, you won't find a better place!!

We stayed at Acadia View based on the various TripAdvisor recommendations and were not disappointed. Jim and Pat Close, the proprietors, are quite hospitable and knowledgeable about the "quiet" side of Acadia. The inn itself as well as the rooms are very clean, spacious and charming. It is also very quiet, particularly after traffic from Route 1 dies down later... More

The rooms are nicely decorated, this was an anniversary getaway, the room had a balcony overlooking Frenchman's Bay and Bar Harbor with all the lights at night. Beautiful scenery, great location for exploring Schoodic Point, ate at one of the best restaurants we've ever been too, hidden pretty deep in the woods, past Schoodic point turnoff, suggested by the hosts (name... Charming, beautiful home, comfortable, outstanding view. The hosts were marvelous, friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts were wonderful and beautifully presented and we so enjoyed visiting with the other guests. We selected the room downstairs that did not have a direct ocean view but they we had a private porch that did have the ocean view which even on a chilly afternoon... More

Acadia View was our best stay in a B&B. The house has nice location. It overlooks Acadia, and we were able to reach the ocean by following the path in the garden. The room was nice and clean. Jim and Pat were very nice and friendly. They helped us with finding restaurants and gave us guides that saved us a... More
