My husband and I spent five days at Grey Havens last week and loved it. If you are looking for a beautiful inn situated close to lovely day trip destinations, you will be happy you stayed here. The food was wonderful, and from your bed you will have a view of the ocean! And, always a big criteria for me,... More

I never quite know what to expect when staying at a country inn. Sometimes it's a wonderful experience, and sometimes it brings up visions of a Hitchcock movie. Grey Havens falls into the first category. The owners have obviously put a lot of hard work and thought into making the inn more than just an historic property with a magnificent... More

During our recent Maine trip, we spent between $75 and $350 per night. Right about in the middle of the price band, Grey Havens was by far the best place we stayed. Eve is just a kick and super accommodating, like pretty much everyone we ran across in Maine. She'll make you laugh and always has a smile. Gorgeous common... More

If I could give The Grey Havens Inn 10 stars, I would. Its location is stunning, right on the water, with views of the ocean, Southport Island, other islands, trees, boats. It has a huge porch, comy rockers and a porch swing -- ideal for relaxing and reading, snoozing, looking through binoculars. The common room has a huge picture window, so... More

My wife and I spent two days at Grey Havens in Georgetown Maine. This was our first visit and we really enjoyed our stay. This fourteen room inn is a beautiful early 1900s structure skillfully renovated to preserve the architectural features of the times while assuring features like bathrooms have been completely updated to modern standards. We stayed in a... More

We've been going to Grey Havens since the first owner back maybe 20 years ago. It's gone through some incarnations and with Eve and Dick at the helm of this lovely inn, it is the best it's been. Completely renovated guest rooms and baths, beautifully decorated common space, a wrap around front porch with rockers and comfortable seating looking out... More

I've spent some time in Maine in my time but noting has been as outstanding as Grey Havens. Eve and Dick run a fantastic place. Beautiful spot, nice quiet rooms, outstanding restaurant, a great place to slow down and relax. Spent July 4th weekend there with my wife; totally romantic, totally low-key, totally excellent. Dick's fireworks were fantastic as we... More

Living in Colorado, it was time for an east coast visit. Having never been to Maine, I did a lot of research online and found Grey Havens Inn. I knew immediately this was where we wanted to stay and booked our room that evening. We stayed in the Sunrise room and I must say it was the best room in... More

We both agreed, the view from the wrap-around porch was mesmerizing. The tidal inlet far below ebbed and flowed. Craggy rocks, washed by clear water, grew tall then disappeared. The ocean spread to the horizon. This picturesque 1920s Inn has kept its charm and added all the modern conveniences. Casual breakfast, coffee on the porch and your day begins beautifully.... More

Although a very large and stately property, this seaside inn had a lot of charm and a cozy feel. Situated at the shore with views as far as the eye can see with a large and verdant garden, a huge green lawn that backs up to the water's edge, the Grey Haven Inn is the quintessential Maine getaway. As you... More
