We stayed a night after a long international flight to boston. Two and a half hours drive and we found our selves in a beautiful secluded bay. With the best lobster co in the area five island lobster co. And the beautiful beach of reed park. The mooring b&b is a great homey b&b. You can see the ocean from... More

What an amazing place for a wedding. Could not ask for a better setting or location. Penny our host was very nice and accommodating. Food was very fresh and Maine appropriate. Lobster corn and potatoes. Penny also served as a wedding planner helping find photographer, Dj and cake. So peaceful and relaxing. Would love to go back just for the... More

This was my first trip to Maine, and we had a family wedding at the Mooring. There was enough room for the family to stay on site, which allowed for lots of reconnecting time. It was a relaxed environment, and the staff took incredible care of us. The house and property are absolutely beautiful - quant and cozy, and the... More

The B&B was a little over decorated for our tastes. I had to compare with others we stayed at and prefer them over this one. I found the breakfasts rather ordinary in comparison. The wine and cheese in the late afternoon was a plus. The owner was rather nice. Most of the business is dedicated to weddings.

Great view and I loved hearing the waves at night with the window open. All rooms have there own bathroom! Great breakfast each morning... More

We have stayed at The Mooring several times and it is always a pleasure. Penny is a wonderful hostess and incredible cook. Morning breakfasts are very tasty and filling. Beautiful views of Harmon's Harbor from the front porch. Lobstermen pull traps and sailboats pass by. Highly recommend The Mooring B&B!

Each year my husband and I try out a Bed & Breakfast in our beautiful state of ME. While in 2 different places we chose The Mooring Bed and Breakfast and of course it was meant to be. The rooms and beds are very clean, inviting, and comfortable. Our room overlooked the ocean; we opened the windows so we could... More

The late home of Walter Reid, which is own and operated by his great granddaughter was a great experience. The home has a beautiful view of the ocean, and sits on landscaped grounds with flowers in every direction. I loved having the window open at night listening to the waves crash along the rocky coast line. The house has many... More

This was our first experience staying at a bed & breakfast....it was exceptional. The inn was spotless and the grounds were beautiful. Oh the breakfasts, well they were the finest I've ever had in the state of Maine.
