We absolutely love this B&B. The owners are amazing and extremely hospitable - not to mention a great chef. The porch room is our favorite and so comfy. We just moved from Portland to Saco and try to go up at least twice a year, it's a fantastic getaway that is close to appreciate. Can't recommend this place enough.

I was very excited at first about going to this restaurant for dinner on my birthday. We took our daughter and my mother in law to eat with us as we had heard many nice things about the view and the service as well as the food. We got there around 5pm as the downstairs bar is open at that... More

Dear Lisa, Thank you for bringing your family to our restaurant for dinner. I am glad to read that you enjoyed your food but regret that you did not find your entire dining experience enjoyable. Our historic building is over 100 years old and is therefore exempt from ADA requirements as the renovations needed to meet the requirements would greatly... More

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay for one night on our way northward, and we found a gem. The room was spacious, and the four-poster bed added to the ambience. We not only had breakfast, but also ate dinner the evening of our arrival. The food at both meals was excellent, and the choices were... More

Four of us for dinner on an early June Saturday night...this was not our first choice so our expectations were not real high...but the food, ambience and service was absolutely first rate...decent Sancerre for under $40 a bottle...why drink only one?...service was on the slow side but we were in no rush and enjoyed the pace...our server took immense pride in... I used to work in Fryeburg off and on many years ago. My wife and I were exploring retirement possibilities in the area so we chose the Oxford House Inn as a result of the stellar reviews on Trip Advisor. They were all right. It's decorated in a lovely way, without being overdone like you see in many B &... More

My wife and I were looking for a place to eat and have drinks close to the western shores of Lake Sebago. A quick internet search lead us to the Oxford House Inn. What a night! In short, we had cocktails while sitting in Adirondack chairs overlooking the white mountains then had a fantastic and surprisingly in-expensive (Compared to Boston)... More

We stayed for three days in the porch room. It was exactly what we were looking for. It didn't have a view of the mountains but it was roomy and bright. Everything was clean. We especially liked the food. Our breakfast was wonderful both days. We ate dinner just one night and the Filet mignon was the best my husband... More

This inn is beautifully decorated, has amazing views, the food is incomparable and the service impeccable. The owners are gracious and the owner/chef has a palate that exceeds expectations. The entire staff is very polished and professional yet warm and welcoming. Jonathans dinners are varied and flavors are layered and complex. Our bartenders were well prepared for great wine suggestions... More

The Oxford House Inn is hands down, one of the best Bed & Breakfasts I've ever been to. Jonathan & Natalie (the owners) really have something special here, It's difficult on where to start... The rooms are beautiful and clean, each one having its own, distinct character. Traditionally New England, with a modern twist, this blend transports guests back to... More

A good location for visiting the White Mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the Porch Room consists of a large bedroom and a small adjoining sitting room which was very pleasant for relaxing. Although it faced the busy Main Street it was not noisy. Oxford House has a number of rooms to eat in as well as... More
