Our 6th year and it just gets better !! Sandi & Pete have continued to improve the rooms, the food, the bar and the welcoming. It's truly the best B & B we've visited . . . And we've been to a lot all over the world. Well worth the trip from hectic NYC. Come and relax and enjoy !!

Dear LF, Thank you so much for the glowing review! As always it's a pleasure to host your family and we're looking forward to seeing you again next year. Don't forget to bring your clubs as the driving range will be open! Regards, Sandi and Pete More

Picked this place in view of the amazing number of "5" ratings. Turned out the reviews were right on. Everything was great. Quiet and peaceful lodge like setting away from road noise. Breakfast on the porch, self service bar during the week, excellent common areas and a very comfortable room with outside deck and huge bathroom. Parking at the door.... More

We had a lovely stay here and especially appreciated the cleanliness and charm of the inn, as well as the friendly, thoughtful and warm hospitality of the innkeepers. I enjoyed walking on the trails on the grounds of the inn. Breakfasts were delicious and relaxing in the attractive dining area. (I love the window seats!) The food was more elaborate... More

Such a great spot just north of Fryeburg. Beautiful location, set back in the woods and off the beaten path, lovely rooms, wonderful hosts and amazing breakfasts. One of the quitest B & B's we've ever visited - and we enjoyed every minute. We hiked, biked, kayaked and swam. Sandi and Pete are great - and provided lots of information... More

My husband found the inn on line and thought it looked nice so we booked for one night on our weekend roadtrip, when we got there it way surpassed our expectations. The inn was beautiful the resturant was amazing a beautiful screened in porch overlooking the sleepy river and the food was to die for! The rooms were amazing with... More

My wife and I decided that we wanted to avoid the crowded cities and beaches for our honeymoon. At 22 years old, we wanted to explore the outdoors. We wanted to hike, kayak, swim...etc. The Old Saco Inn was the answer we were looking for! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful scenery and comfortable... More

This review is for the dinner service only. We made our dinner reservations online which was quick and easy. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. It was a busy evening but there was at least one empty table. The food selection is very limited - one appetizer, two entree choices and one dessert. It is wise to check their... More

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay, in North Conway for our anniversary, but everything seemed very expensive, with not much bang for your buck. I stumbled onto this Inn in my research, and after reading all the glowing reviews, I could not pass it up. It is off the beaten path a bit, but well... More

My husband and I had been travelling up the east coast of USA and Canada for 5 weeks. We were heading back towards Boston and New York but wanted to see Camp Tapawingo where our youngest daughter had done a Summer Camp as a Counselllor, 11 years ago. we needed to find accommodation close by and chose the Saco Inn...
