We were extremely happy with our stay at this hotel. I usually stay at Hamptons and Courtyards. Great beds, extremely clean rooms, good cable selection, good shower! Standard limited service breakfast. Very happy with the value!

My husband and I stayed there for a night. I wouldn't stay there for a romantic weekend. But for shopping it is a perfect place when you doesn't want to pay too much. Our room was ok, at least it was clean and our bed was comfortable. We like it cause it rignt beside the Maine Brewing co.

My wife and I and our dog stayed at the Econo Lodge Freeport during the last weekend of April 2015. The room was large enough for the 3 of us and had a microwave oven, refrigerator, flat screen tv and hair drier in the bathroom area. The bathroom sink and mirror were part of the room with the toilet and... More

We booked in advance for two nights and left after our first night :( We read all the reviews for this location and due to these we decided to book in advance and couldn't believe the state of the hotel. First off we were told check in was 3 and we arrived after 3 and they said no rooms were... More

Older motel.Clean and fairly comfortable bed. Stayed here while travelling south. Some of the furnishings and carpet were fairly worn. Complimentary breakfast was pretty standard but quite acceptable. No real complaints but next time in Freeport I think that I will pay more and stay at a nicer motel.

We've been staying at the Econo Lodge in Freeport for years, and I have been staying there for over a decade, on most of our trips to Maine. In the past it was always clean, friendly and safe for a reasonable price which is why we've always gone back. Our last visit, around Memorial Day, was the first time in... More

I stay here a couple of times a year. This place has stepped up this year with some room refurbishments and still maintaining a good price. It is well located for all the stores in Freeport including LL Bean, mand is near to Scarborough which has a magnificent Cabellas outlet. They have also stepped up their WIFI service.

We have stayed at the Econo Lodge in Freeport several times in the past. We were always happy with our stay but this time have really noticed how run down the hotel is becoming. There was mildew on the bathroom ceiling, crack in the sink, furniture was stained and not the cleanest. There was hair in the bathtub, etc. The... More

Decided to visit Freeport on Christmas Day, also travelling with the labrador...very nice pet friendly room, spotlessly clean and very quiet. Great location at the southern end of town, right off Rte 1 and easy access to I-295....

Stayed Dec 18th, 2014 for one night while passing through. One of the cheapest hotels in Freeport. Nothing but great things to say. Excellent service. Decent free breakfast. Clean room. Top notch shower which had good pressure and very clean. At this price point this hotel easily surpassed my expectations. I will definitely stay there again.
