We only got to spend one night here but there was ever so much to do!! My boys walked all over the farm and beach exploring and had a blast "discovering." The office staff is super helpful and informative. A+ all the way around - fun, quiet, laid back, but not boring. Well done!

This campground is located within Wolfe's Neck Farm and has great sites with water views and plenty of space between sites. I returned after my first stay in 2013 because I loved it so much. Very peaceful, beautiful gardens and the property is well maintained. The bathrooms/showers are also kept very clean. All the people who work @ the office... More

We stayed at Recompence for four days, three nights. I cannot stress how amazing this campground is.. the place is immaculate! We are avid tent campers and this is the cleanest place we have stayed. The grounds are so well kept. The bathrooms are cleaned daily, the showers are beautiful - even the outhouses are kept up daily. Some other... More

My wife and i tented there for one night in late June. The pre-arrival communication was excellent and check-in went very smooth. View from our campsite was amazing. We enjoyed takeout from their onsite canteen and the food was tasty and priced fairly. It was great being surrounded by a working farm. Would return in the future.

We loved it here. From $10 fresh steamed lobsters to employees who will kindly give your car a jump if you need it, this fantastic jewel of a campground will amaze you. The views from the camp sites are incredible and the canoes and kayaks for rent are well cared for. The bathrooms were clean and modern. We would go... More

Pre-arrival communication was the best. Check in went smoothly, with great staff in the office. Very hard time maneuvering our travel trailer onto access camp road across the street. Had to drive down the road and make a 3 point turn down at the farm. We had water and electric, that worked just fine. Problem was that the W/E loop... More

We went 6/25-6/27 2014. This place is beautiful. we opted for a premium ocean view, and it was a great site 168. it was a big site, with some tree coverage. We could see the play ground and field from our site. There is not a place to swim, even though its on the bay. the outhouse next to our... More

I booked this reservation (a couple months in advance)because it had great reviews. I wanted a view of the water "scenic view"which was extra. Well thats not what we got. The woman acted on the phone like it was a great spot. WRONG! We had a view of a mud pond (thats if you can see it through the trees)... More

Pros: Beautiful location, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, very clean facilities (nicest outhouses I've ever seen), well-appointed camp store, tasty food at the Snack Shack (burgers, fries, ice cream, etc.) Cons: Sites are small and fairly close together, the only flush toilets/showers at the camp entrance (very far from some sites). Some sites, specifically the ones near the water, are... More

I have been making this campground an annual stop over the past several years. Many of the campsites are on the ocean but as others have discussed they are fairly small. I love the Sat night clambake...looking out over the farm to the ocean...life doesn't get better than that! We swim, kayak, hike, and unplug....so relaxing.
