Monica and Rock are absolutely great hosts! Rock recommended a fantastic restaurant (Jameson Tavern - try the lobster stew!) and Monica made a delicious breakfast! My fella and I slept on the most amazing king size bed that made us want to cuddle and hug (but we slept on opposite sides of the bed, enjoying the space!!!). Top notch, really. more

The White Cedar Inn is the perfect place to stay in Freeport, ME. Easily accessible from the highway we drove into the convenient parking area and were greeted by Monica, one of our hosts. Even though we arrived a little early, she gladly checked us in and took us to our room. It was beatifully decorated with a comfortable seating... more

When deciding where to stop in Freeport, we chose very carefully based on other reviews. With expectations so high, you end up arriving with trepidation. This was to be our first experience of New England B&B. Suffice to say that we were not disappointed. The Inn is historic, in a beautiful setting. It is perfectly positioned on the edge of... more

My mother, daughter and I spent the night at this lovely Inn. All of us are a little obsessive when it comes to cleanliness, and we were amazed - we were as comfortable as in our own home. Bathroom was spotless, as was the room. Hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious and hearty. Great location - we'd... more

The location of this B&B is perfect for walking into town (Freeport, Maine). Our room was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. Monica and Rock are wonderful hosts and breakfast was perfect with Maine blueberry preserves on the side. We even brought some home. I highly recommend this lovely Inn. more

While I travel quite a bit for business, I do not get to take my wife very often, so getaways to our favorite B&B mean a lot. Once the owner's Rock and Monica get to know you, you become "old friends". This is the second time we have been able to get away to the White Cedar Inn and we... more

Monica and Rock, the Inn Keepers, make you feel like you're coming home and part of the family. The Inns location close to downtown allows you to walk to restaurants, LL Bean or whatever in downtown Freeport. We have been going there for years and would recommend it to all. more

The White Cedar Inn was the perfect getaway. Monica greeted us warmly as we approached the front door and that feeling of welcome and comfort permeated our stay. The house is lovingly furnished, clean and with nice touches making it homey. Monica's recommendations for dinner and a snowshoeing destination were perfect for us. We will be going again. more

The White Cedar Inn has been my preferred Freeport "getaway go to" selection for over ten years now. The location is absolutely ideal - being on the beautiful and quiet end of town nearest Brunswick, and also only two short blocks to the best that Freeport offers - L.L. Bean and other similar shops. The entire village is within easy... more

We stayed at the White Cedar Inn 12 years ago and never got a chance to get back before now. We loved it then and were not disappointed with our most recent visit. It is very clean and cozy and a very comfortable place to stay. My breakfast of blueberry pancakes was delicious and a great way to start my... more
