My husband and I spent a night at the White Cedar Inn while I was on business in Freeport. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. We stayed in the Bowdoin room which was perfect as we brought our new baby and had plenty of room for all his gear. The innkeepers, Rock and Monica were very welcoming as we had... more

I highly recommend the White Cedar Inn. It is a beautiful Inn with lots of character and very comfortable rooms. Breakfasts are fantastic - blueberry pancakes are my favorite. The innkeepers Monica and Rock are very welcoming hosts. Monica took time to share interesting places for us to go and see while we stayed at The White Cedar Inn. I... more

We stayed in Freeport for two days in September before going on a Schooner boat (Isaac H.. Evans) in Rockland, ME. The warm hospitality of Monica and Rock made the first leg of our trip very memorable. The Inn is very comfortable and we felt very much as if we were in our home. Rock creates a wonderfull fluffy blueberry... more

We only stayed one night at the White Cedar Inn, but we could have stayed for a week! Great location, within walking distance to all of the shops, or within a short car ride of many other great destinations. The hosts are very hospitable, and the room we stayed in--The Crow's Nest--was very well appointed--we loved the down blanket. They... more

A wonderful Bed and Breakfast. We took a short mid week break and stayed at this B&B. The bed was very comfortable. The inn is very clean and so much better than staying at a motel. We enjoyed sitting by the gas fireplace in our room after a long day of shopping at the many stores in Freeport. The food... more

A wonderful B&B in a great location. It is very close to LLBean and just down the street from the Jameson Inn, where legend has it that Maine was created. The Owners are also very, very nice people who cook a mean breakfast! more

We spent 4 nights here the beginning of October in the CAPT Dan room. Monica and Rock were and are the perfect hosts with Rock's fantastic breakfasts (blueberry pancakes, stuffed french toast, and brocoli and mushroom fritata) and Monica's evening cookies and cakes as well as answering our questions to the fullest. From hiking, attractions, lighthouses and restaurants to where... more
