We stayed on 5th Nov 09 This was our second stay -previous 4 years ago We were welcomed and offered the choice of two rooms. We opted for the 'Crow's Nest' The room was very well presented and decorated to a very high standard. The Inn is well equiped with lots of information available for visitors to the area. Breakfast... more

This Bed and Breakfast was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The innkeeper suggested several sights to visit that we would not have known about, and they became some of the highlights of our trip. Evening cookies were delicious, and breakfast with a lovely view, to include a playful chipmunk, was outstanding. This inn made all others on our trip a... more

Rock and Monica are extremely welcoming hosts. We enjoyed talking with them and other guests. Our room, the Winthrop Fogg, was lovely and relaxing. Many thoughtful touches--from the guest fridge to the remote controlled stove to the big bowl of Hershey kisses to the delicious breakfast--made one feel at home. No, wait, better than at home! more

Very easy place to recommend, no negatives: easy walk to major shopping area, so no worries about parking. Very nice setting, quiet and scenic. Great breakfasts - rate with the tastiest I've had at b&b's, including ones that cost much more. Innkeepers Monica and Rock are helpful and great conversational companions (without being "overhelpful"). Rooms are spic and span with... more

We had so much fun this weekend and very much enjoyed our stay. The room, the house and your hospitality was truly just lovely. You are both running your business very smart and you don't miss a beat. The cookies and Hershey kisses are a nice touch. The breakfasts speak for themselves very accommodating for those who like a good... more

Monica and Rock are absolutely great hosts! Rock recommended a fantastic restaurant (Jameson Tavern - try the lobster stew!) My husband and I enjoyed staying in the Winthrop Fogg room which was extremely clean, beautifully decorated. The first morning breakfast was spinach quiche the second morning was pancakes. Both were delicious and a great way to start the day. Could... more

My husband and I enjoyed staying in the Winthrop Fogg room which was extremely clean, beautifully decorated with a quilt motiff, and situated with views of both Main Street and the garden. I especially liked the extra touch of make-up remover packets in the bathroom. Outdoor seating was available to enjoy the well maintained garden of hostas or Main Street.... more
