This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever visited. The staff were exceptionally helpful and their local knowledge was invaluable. The rooms were spotless and furnished tastefully. The restaurant food was of an extremely high quality. They offered afternoon tea to those staying at the hotel - such a nice little touch. Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We had one night in Freeport so we read the reviews and decided the Harraseeket Inn was where we wanted to stay. The staff at the front desk, Sandy and Karen, were wonderful. In the Dining Room, Alicia, our server, was also over the top with service. Thank you for making our one night wonderful. Penny, I loved the antiques... More

I stayed at the inn with 4 other couples, all in our early sixties. The consensus of the group was a big rave. The inn provided friendly, comprehensive service as if we were in a small B&B yet the property has a large outdoor area, two restaurants, pool, patio, and meeting rooms. Often it felt like we were the only... More

My husband and I have been staying here for about 8 years. This trip we enjoyed a fireplace king room overlooking the lush green garden. The Broad Arrow Tavern served the freshest and most tasty lobster we've had in all of Maine. Dinner in the Harvest Maine Dining room was one of the best meals ever. The breakfast buffet was spectacular... More

My wife and I make what consider a yearly pilgrimage to L.L. Bean to stock up for the winter season. The Harraseeket is as close as it comes. The overall effect is a charming old New England Inn. Especially to be noted are the included breakfasts, which are farm to table--with a varied buffet each day, with really interesting items... More

We had a group of four stay in a room at the Harraseeket Inn and it was very lovely. The room was beautiful with a very nice view of the garden. The bathroom in our room was huge and the beds were SO comfortable. The inn is located in a central part of Freeport and it made it easy to... More

We were passing through town a few years ago. It was getting late, dark, and hadn't really made any plans of staying in Freeport. We stopped off at the L.L.Bean store and looked around. Without any plans, we asked the information staff if they had any good local only suggestions for a meal. They recommended Harraseeket Inn and they were... More

We stayed for one night in early August. It's central location makes walking to restaurants and shopping easy. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and the bathroom was updated. One of the best parts is the complimentary full breakfast in the morning. Delicious and a great way to start our day. Oh, there's also an afternoon... More

I recently held a three-day work function at the Inn, I can say, without a doubt, that not only are the service and location superb, but the staff is top-notch, as well. Jean Marie Currie, the Sales Manager for the Inn, was always available for our group and was an absolute delight to work with - her team was equally... More

We're so pleased that your meeting went well. Our sales staff is dedicated to making sure no detail is overlooked; Jean Marie is great! LLBean also offers team-building Outdoor Discovery adventures like kayaking, fly fishing and skeet shooting, very popular with the groups as a way to unwind, learn a new skill and build a stronger team all at the... This was our first time staying overnight in Freeport , Me. The Inn was close to all the shopping. A nice pool area with beautiful gardens outside to enjoy. Their restaurant right off the lobby was fantastic. You have to make reservation but the food was delicious and great service. A very nice breakfast in the morning. Definitely recommend.
