This hotel is stuck in the forties. The building is attractive, but the décor incredibly dated, dowdy, dingy. The furniture in our room was like chain hotel furniture. Carpet not fitting properly on one side of room. Tile damage in bathroom. No turn down service one of the nights. The fireplace was lovely. The Jacuzzi tub was nice on a... More

Make time (and an appointment ) to get a massage from Natasha, it's amazing and right there in your room! The staff is extremely accommodating and will go above and beyond to make sure you have the best possible experience. We went to celebrate our 18th anniversary and can't wait to go back. I just wish we had known about... More

My husband and I met my sister, brother and spouses for a weekend at Harraseeket Inn. Check in was a breeze (unload at front door, then park in large lot out back), Very pleasant staff all around! The livingroom was a great place to sit by the fire and relax or meet with others. All 3 of our rooms were... More

Thank you for your review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us but we do wish everything had been perfect. We'll share your comments with our tavern chefs; they are usually on top of their game but there's obviously room for improvement. We appreciate your critique, it keeps us on our toes. Thank you again for sharing your experience... More

Just spent the weekend at the Harraseeket Inn, staying in room 203 which is a suite with a Queen size bed, double jacuzzi and a wood snow. The sheets and pillows are such high quality and very soft. I could have fallen asleep in the jacuzzi after snow shoeing in the morning. Breast fast buffet which is included each day... More

Thank you for your review! You sure picked a great winter for a birthday snowshoeing adventure. Conditions have never been better and the trails around Casco Bay at Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park are just gorgeous. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see you again soon! My husband and I came to the Inn for his birthday. We had the serious shopper package. It was snowing when we arrived. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and fruit platter. We enjoyed tea time then had a lovely dinner in the main dining room. The staff were all incredibly friendly. We enjoyed a log fire in... More

We're honored you chose to celebrate your husband's birthday at our inn. It's been a snowy winter but the fireplaces are never so appreciated as they are this time of year. We wish you all the best for 2015 and hope to see you again soon! Best regards, Penny Gray The Gray family More

The rooms are cozy and feel just like home, the breakfast buffet is incredible, the fireplaces are so comforting, and staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the location is impeccable. I can't say enough good things about The Harraseeket and how great this place is. This is going to be our official go-to place when we visit Maine. Just booked... More

We stayed at the Harraseeket for one night, as a treat for my wife's birthday. This was no small feat as I work in Alaska and my home is in Maine. So, I made the long journey home for a special night. The Inn itself is fairly nice. We stayed in a nice room that featured a double bed, fireplace... More

We're so very sorry about your debit card experience. When guests check in, it's typical for a hotel to take a credit/debit card imprint to allow the guest to charge incidentals (meals, beverages, gift shop purchases) to their room. Depending on the bank, hotel authorizations on debit cards can be released the next day or it can take up to... More

Crap room over the entrance. Smelly stinky pillows. Had to buy 3 new ones and pillow cases to survive the night. Also, HD tv in room is hooked up to Non/HD cable service. And a very HARD king size matress. And over the smelly pool! Did I mention over the ENTRANCE? All this, and more. Booked in advance.

We're so sorry you didn't find our pillows up to snuff. There are two feather pillows in the closet of each room in addition to the down alternative pillows we use on the bed, and all are covered with our 600 thread count cotton sateen pillow cases. We also have an assortment of pillows available in housekeeping for those who... More

I was blown away by the total experience. First the food: lobster, game pates, fresh cinnamon rolls, salads galore, 5-star prime rib, fresh crepes, and LOTS more. The desserts were imaginative and delicious (I had to sample several). The staff, to a person, were extremely concerned that we enjoy ourselves. The location is convenient and the ambiance is first class.... More

We're so glad you enjoyed our Lobster Sunday Brunch! The lobsters and prime rib might take center stage but Chef Elizabeth never disappoints; her menus change weekly and are just amazing. Everything is house made, including the desserts. Thank you for your review and we hope to see you again! Best regards, Penny Gray The Gray family More
