I spent one day and night at Zulua Nyala during a company workshop on the same premises. The food was OK (but quite salty), the bed comfortable and the service excellent. Not too chuffed that I had no hot water on the morning of my early departure. It was very cold, so the ice cold shower before my flight home... More

We stayed at Zulu Nyala's Heritage Lodge in Kwa-Zulu Natal for a week and then stayed here at the Country Manor for a night before returning to America. While we were blown away by the KZN lodge, we were EXTREMELY disappointed here. Frankly it left an awful taste in our mouth for our entire trip. To be fair, the grounds... More

We came through here, stayed a couple days to see lion park and crocodiles before going on photo safari. The staff was great and very accommodating as we left luggage here in between trips so we traveled lighter. On the way back through we did another side trip from hotel and both guides we had were fantastic. Good Basecamp.

I was here only for a night enroute to Durban via Lanseria. Very conveniently located to touristic sites such as the Lion Park, Lesedi Cultural Village, Monte Casino, Fourways, Cradle of Human Kind and Magaliesburg for balloon Safaris. The room (18) was just off the central dining area. I expected it to be noisy but pleasantly it was not and... More

I stayed 1 unpleasant night & morning at this manor. We had to attend an evening company function at Monte Casino - with a early morning flight via Lanseria airport. We arrived @ 22:30 to check-in. It was a chilly JHB night. The bath tub had no stopper plug. I called reception hoping to get some help but she explained... More

We won our stay here at a charity auction. Spent three nights before heading south to the Game Lodge. Visited Soweto and saw homes of Nelson Mandel, Archbishop Tutu and Winnie Mandela. Township was an eye-opener: vast poverty but very welcoming people. Spent time in the Apartheid Museum, which is profoundly moving and informative. Also visited Lion park and hand... More

The hotel has really wonderful rooms with a 'chalet' kind of a look and experience. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained, neat and clean. The property is very large and it has a few animals at the back. You can view some zebras, horses, antelopes, peacocks here. The kids would just love it. The only drawback of the... More

Our friends got married here and we stayed over the night for the wedding. Let me start off by saying that this is a magnificent choice of location to get married. The grounds are beautiful and we had an absolute blast. In terms of the room we stayed in. I'm not kidding, but it took me about an hour in... More

When we arrived at the country manor most of the electronic things in our room were broken. We had no tv, internet, lights, etc. A friendly man came to our room and tried for a VERY long time to fix the television without luck. Another nice man then came along to fix it and we had a bit more luck,... More
