My husband and I chose the Comfort Inn because it had good ratings in the area and was listed as a very clean hotel. I have to say- it lived up to expectations. The room was not fancy or fashionable, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and there was ample parking. I would absolutely recommend... More

Thank you for your very kind review! This year Choice Hotels is developing a new prototype for the Comfort Inn. We look forward within the next year bringing a newer modern look to our bedding standards. Although our current bedding was newly purchased in the last couple of years it is older in style so we are very excited about... More

We spent a week here, so we could visit family for Christmas in a town 40 minutes away. It's the closest wheelchair accessible accommodation. The staff is terrific and friendly. The housekeeping staff actually follows the environmental policy of not changing sheets/towels daily. (All too often housekeeping staff elsewhere changes towels, even tho' they've been hung up.) Very good breakfast. More

This hotel was about a 1/2 hour drive to Acadia National Park. It was clean, and the room had 2 queen beds instead of the usual 2 double beds (so 4 pillows for each bed!). We had a small refrigerator and microwave in our room. We had to request them, but they were free. The breakfast was hot and cold... More

They serve a great breakfast here, better than most in this chain. No elevator. Friendly, helpful front desk. One washer had soap in the bottom that we didn't see and it was all over our clothes when the load was done -- the front desk person gave us money to rewash the clothes. Easy driving distance to Acadia National Park... More

This hotel offers standard comfort inn quality, clean but nothing fancy. It's okay if you are just looking for a place to rest your head for the night. Breakfast is actually worse than in other comfort inns I have stayed at. More

Just like most Comfort Hotels, this one was a roll of the dice. Some are new and very well-appointed, others are older and despite updating, miss the mark. This property is clearly older, two floors with no elevator, and one very long musty hallway. Small and dated lobby, with spartan breakfast room. Our deluxe king room had an odd odor,... More

Hello I am so sorry to hear that you were not happy with your stay. Thank you for your comments so that we can make any needed improvements. I would like to say that we have completely renovated this hotel in 2010. Our entire facility is non smoking. There was new carpeting and tile in the breakfast room, public areas... More

My wife and I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Ellsworth for one evening. We chose the hotel after doing some research on TripAdvisor and looking for an economical hotel close to Acadia National Park. If you are looking for the same, this Comfort Inn is a great choice. The hotel is very nice and the rooms were very clean... More

We got to town at 9:30 am and check in time is in the afternoon, but we wanted to find our hotel and see if by any chance our room was available. It wasn't, but the desk staff offered us the free continental breakfast even though we hadn't stayed the night before! She asked if we needed any help with... More

We found this place afer we had a bad experience at a B'n'B. I also had previously seen it very highly-rated on TripAdvisor. I never travel without a reservation so I didn't know if they would even have any rooms available much less for 10 nights. Fortunately we went there July 6 about a week before "High Tourism" season hit... More
