The Colonial has changed a lot seance I was here last, the building is getting a facelift with new siding, Paint and New sliders but it doesn't stop there, on the inside everything is new or going to be redone, the halls have been painted so it is nice and bright. the room that I stayed in each time come... This was the second time my family has stayed there in the past 2 months. Family friendly hotel with a pool and restaurant on site. Since change in ownership there have been many many improvements. The rooms look fabulous with new carpets, bed spreads, doors and much more.

I gotta tell you I was really impressed with the way things have improved since the last time I was there. The room I was in last time was dated but it's obvious things have changed since 2012. I was impressed. Its not easy bringing a hotel like that into the the new millennium but the new owner has really... More

The colonial inn surprised me, in the past this place was a second to none last resort, for lack of a better term, resort. However the new improvements and renovations definitely made for a comfortable stay, and the hot uh was exceptional. Coming back next year!

I have stayed here 4 times because it was convenient during a school event. I have raved about the good customer service, cheap rates and decent (although dated) rooms. The year a group of 9 of us booked 2 adjacent rooms for 6 adults and a single room for our 3 teenage girls. When we got there, the front desk... More

This place is in major need of an update. Our room had a green tub, toilet and sink. The carpet was pink and had obvious soiled areas that would require shampoo to remove. I found it particularly amusing that the rooms have no smoking signs on them; however, when you first step into the lobby the first thing that hits... More

Was just about the only place in town with a room, that allowed pets. Where to start? Cockroaches (despite the "kitchen" being completely devoid of plates and cookware), smokey smell, no screen door on sliding door, carpet felt sticky, shabby everything, lumpy bed. Breakfast was coffee and doughnuts, coffee was (insultingly) both cold and incredibly weak. All I can say... More

I stayed at the colonial because they take pets, but it turned out to be a bad stay the manager was very nasty and so was some of the staff. They should not say they take pets if a dog cant even bark one time. They are not very friendly to the guest.

While I don't think the colonial inn was the worst place I've been it most certainly is not the best. It really needs some updating but didn't find it to be dirty, just old. The staff was pleasant enough. I feel for the price you pay you really could find better at one of the other hotel/motel in the area.... More

I travel all the time in New England, I average 2 nights a week in a Hotel, and could not get a room at any of my regular places in the area. I have stayed in many Hotels and Motels, and never actually walked out on a place before. I booked it last minute because it was the cheapest I... More
