There is no elevator in this motel. There were 4 of us on a 15 day trip, we booked 2 rooms, I had to haul the luggage up a flight of stairs for 4 people. There is no hair dryer in the room. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The continental breakfast was free but had limited choices(like cereal, no... More

The access road to the motel is one way and if you miss the entry (like I did) then you have to do a loop to try again. Stay on the left side of the road going up the hill. Reception was nice and friendly and were able to "talk bikes". Good room without a lot of extras which suits... More

So we were pleased with the cost, the location and the cleanliness. It is an older building so not everything is brand new but it was well kept and staff were friendly. They encourage bikers (which is fine with me as I'm one of them) and can see that it'd be a good stop on the road. The breakfast though... More

Not only was there coffee, but there was juice and donuts available all day long.. Our group was able to meet, relax and play games in the breakfast room. If traveling with motorcycle and trailers, there was plenty of parking for all.

This was the second place my husband and I visited on a tour of New England. We were checked in by a pleasant and helpful member of staff and were very happy with our room, except for one thing. Room 102 was a good size, it was clean, furnishings and fittings were OK, especially taking into account the cost of... More

As we do every year, we visited Acadia again this summer and stayed at the Eagle's Lodge for a week. As always, the value for the price cannot be beat. In the past we have considered staying closer to Bar Harbor, but the prices are ridiculous. The Eagle’s Lodge offers a great option if you don’t mind the small inconvenience... More

This motel is the perfect place if you're headed to Acadia! It's very basic, but clean, and the people at the desk are very helpful and informative. There's an heated outdoor pool which we didn't swim in, but it looked clean and inviting. We avoided the heavy traffic near Bar Harbor, and drove back from the park to here to... More

I stayed at the Eagles Lodge Motel for four nights between 20th & 24th July 2014. Right from the start and also a good six months earlier when I was making enquiries, the staff were great and very helpful. On my first day there, I arrived quite early in the day on my way to the coast and it was... More

From your first e-mail til this very moment it has been an absolute pleasure to be of service to you. It is so much easier to give great service when the guest is top notch as well. I personally enjoyed having you stay with us and the entire motel staff thanks you for your kind words. We sincerely hope if... More

My husband and I stayed for one night while visiting Bar Harbor on our way Downeast. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We felt right at home! The motel was extremely clean. We even received a discount for showing our key at a local restaurant. Would highly recommend this motel as an alternative to the Bar Harbor pricier hotels. We... More
