We stayed at the Acadia Village Resort for a week in late July. The main office closes at 9 pm. Our arrival time was after 9 pm, so I called ahead, and they made arrangements for us to get our key and a map of the resort. The map was a hand-drawn map showing the location of the Club House,... More

The condos are a bit outdated, but big enough for six people. It has an indoor pool. The staff was great. Location was great. Just 20 minute drive to Acadia National Park. Weather was perfect, every single day above 75.Great week.

Our family of 5 spent a week here. The condos themselves are a bit outdated, but overall very nice and quiet. The indoor pool is great and they offer a lot of family movie rentals at just $2 a movie. The staff was very helpful, and the location is nice. It's about a 25-minute drive to Acadia National Park and... More

Some of the reviews we have seen made us leery. Our townhouse had newer furniture and was clean. It is very plain in décor but it isn't needed. Things were nice and clean. Our one complaint would be the use of the word resort. It has a pool and hot tub that close at 8:45. The ping pong and other... More

The resort was very basic but clean and the staff was very helpful. We had initially been assigned to Unit 52B but the refrigerator was broken and we were relocated to Unit 57B. The second unit was by far much nicer and felt newer. 52B could really use some upgrades, but overall was adequate. 57B was lovely and perfect for... More

We have been exchanging timeshares for years and this place turned out to be one of the best exchanges. The unit was spotless, furniture and rugs in great shape. The resort is right off the center of Ellsworth, unlike so many exchanges which are miles from the center of town. So convenient to many very good restaurants. We also used... More

Like a previous reviewer, we had unit 52B so same description. Furn not new but good. Bed comfortable. Large flatscreen TV in LR/KI, small older one in BR. No maint issues except bedside clock was unplugged and inoperative. Lots of towels, small soaps, tissues, hair dryer but no shampoo or products in our exchange unit. Kitchen had adequate dishes and... More

I was a little nervous about staying here after seeing some of the reviews, but as it turned out, there was nothing to worry about. We stayed in a villa and it was lovely. The bed and furniture were comfortable, the bathtub was huge and wonderful after a day of hiking, and it was absolutely spotless. We were very happy... More

There are three options for stay here...apartments (called "manors") in a 3 story tower building behind the office, as well as duplexes and townhomes. Our group stayed in one apartment and one townhome. The location is right downtown, just off High Street, so it's easy to get to Bar Harbor, Lamoine, Acadia National Park, and even north to Bangor. I... More
