We stayed at the Cod Cove Inn for a family event this Thanksgiving. First impressions from the boss was "this place is very nice". Easy access off US 1, very good parking, and you know what; it IS very nice. The lobby was decorated, we were met by the owners, checked in and were off to our room. We had... More

A colleague and I were in Edgecomb recently for business and we spent four nights at the Cod Cove Inn and loved it. The staff was super friendly- like a family away from home. I watched the lunar eclipse with one of the resident managers, and every morning I had a pleasant conversation with the front desk and/or breakfast worker.... More

Nice to arrive at this pretty, spotlessly clean, bright place away from busy ocean towns. Great outdoor pool, lots of clean grass to walk dogs. Breakfast area is beautiful and we were greeted in the morning with fresh hot muffins right from the oven. Owner has beautiful garden plantings. Bedding/towels excellent quality. Staff friendly and welcoming to us and our... More

Dear Ellen M, Thank you for writing. We really enjoyed seeing you and your four-legged friends! We just added the two pet-friendly rooms to the inn this past spring, and they've proven to be a hug success. We're dog-lovers, too, and we really enjoy setting up the doggy bed and blanket, food and water bowls and (most importantly) the surprise... More

We love this place and why not. It's a perfect location. The owners are awesome. The breakfast is out of this world. The landscaping is beautiful. We stayed in room 20 it is on the bottom floor. It has two queen beds. Their rooms are large and very clean.

Dear the EasternShoreBoop, Thanks for your very nice review of the Cod Cove Inn. I'm happy you enjoyed your room...our returning guests all have their favorites. Some like the first floor and some like the second floor. Fortunately, all of our rooms have a spectacular waterview with a private balcony or patio. More

I can't complain too much about this place. It is comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast is not much but it's free. Very pretty grounds. But they still use keys and if you lose one, it is $50.

Dear Debb1e68, Thank you for staying with us on your recent visit to the Mid-Coast area, and taking the time to write your review. While the real brass keys and fobs are a bit old-school, guests tell us that they're also part of the inn's charm. Of course, the lost key charge isn't meant to be punitive...when a key is... More

Immaculate rooms, great views, wonderful people, and terrific grounds personify this Inn. If you are staying anywhere near Wiscasset, this is your place. You even have a heated pool! We are on a four month tour of New England, PEI, and Nova Scotia and this is by far our favorite place.

Had a wedding to attend in Mid-Maine. Went to Cod Cove because it was one of the designated places to stay. We were greeted by a very friendly staff that did much to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The people at Glidden Oyster Farm in Edgecomb recommended this inn, and they were right on target. Clean, attractive, homey, delicious continental breakfasts, friendly and accommodating staff and great location are just a few of the adjectives to describe this inn. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay and a true Maine experience!

Stayed one night. We were a party of three and the room was very nice with two queen beds and a nice veranda. Dear Jay B, Thank you for commenting on the Cod Cove Inn after your recent stay. You've made Jill very happy with your mention of her gardens. She spends hundreds of hours planting, maintaining, and nurturing the gardens on the property. She may be a talented innkeeper by avocation, but she's a gardener at heart. More
