good clean hotel. staff is VERY polite, professional & kind. Nice private balcony w/ good view. some road noise - but only because we had the screen door open. not a "cookie cutter" hotel. comfortable room - a lot of extras.

We stopped by chance as we didn't have reservations anywhere and saw it from Route 1. They checked us in and we were pleasantly surprised when we turned the key. Two very comfortable dark wood poster queen beds with extra pillows. The room had country blue bedding, a dark wood dresser, a dark wood desk, mid size fridge, and two... More

Thank you for your kind words and for staying with us during your visit to Maine. Room 38 does have a breathtaking view. In fact, all of our 28 rooms share the same sweeping panorama and have private patios or balconies. The views of the Sheepscot River and village of Wiscasset are especially breathtaking in the fall during color season...a... More

Two friends and I stayed here for a weekend wedding about an hour away. We booked rooms on very short notice for summer tourist season in Maine, and this place was really the only one that had anything available. It is not an ultra-chic bed & breakfast, but since we spent very little time in our rooms, that was fine.... More

Dear VoixDuChocolat, Thank you for staying with us, and for your thoughtful review. We appreciate your feedback. We especially enjoyed seeing the Edwardian outfits your party wore to the wedding you attended...especially the gent with the bowler hat! More

The inn is great. fresh baked muffins and great location. Rooms were clean and homey. Appreciate the friendly atmosphere and feel at home hospitality. Had a handicapped need and the inn was very accommodating making sure all set up before we got there. Easy access to main roads and sights.

Hi Gary, Than you for taking the time to post your thoughtful review of the Cod Cod Inn. Our muffins sure are popular with our guests. I think the fresh blueberry muffins are my favorite, although we debuted mixed-berry mango muffins last weekend. Based on feedback from our guests, I think the blueberry muffins now have some pretty stiff competition... More

The nicest part of our stay was the bird feeder outside the window of the breakfast room and the binoculars available for a closer look. Our room was clean, the food was decent, and the price was fair. what more can you want.

We came upon the Cod Cove Inn while coming up to be with family. We drove by it, read the good reviews it had, and decided to book an overnight stay. We checked in late around 9pm after spending time with family about a half hour away. The woman at reception was very nice and welcoming. We were given a... More

I booked two nights for my family and myself. We were two couples with two young children 8 & 11. One couple had the king size bed and a sofa and the other was a two queen bed room with a sofa. One kid slept with us the other with his parents. The rooms were lovely, clean and modern. Great... More

Cod Cove Inn is really a 1st rate drive in, park by your room hotel. However, it offers all the ammonites unavailable at the local motels and B&Bs. 1st rate rooms, VERY clean, and most important..........air conditioned. Don't be fooled by "it always cools off in Maine".........it does not. This combined with a great breakfast, in-room fridges, great bath-rooms, and... More

Not run down like your typical Midcoast Inn/ Motel. For the price, we were pleasantly surprised at the friendly service, CLEAN rooms and grounds and features such as a pool, gardens, yummy continental breakfast - and every room really does have a beautiful ocean view with a balcony! I will come here again and definitely recommend it.
