We stayed for a week in a studio apt. in the lodge via a timeshare exchange. The room had a microwave and minifridge, but no oven or stovetop. The room was decorated in a coastal theme, and very pleasant. The staff was always helpful and friendly. The resort itself was right on the river, and convenient to restaurants and shopping.... more

My son and I stayed at this extensive "resort" in the fall of 2009. I had stayed at the property back in the 1980s when it was the Riverside Motel. It literally is right across the Sheepscot River from Wiscasset, next to the Highway 1 bridge. The current owners have REALLY put a lot of money and attention into making... more

It was our pleasure to discover this piece of beauty. A quaint, quiet, beautiful place for relaxation, being a tourist, and exploring some fantastic places in Maine. We were able to take our dogs, because they welcome them as guests. We opted for a cottage, which was well worth it. The staff were polite, and very helpful. The cottage we... more

My partner and daughter and I recently stayed at the Sheepscot Resort and it was fantastic! Gorgeous location and views! We enjoyed biking around the grounds and going for walks and just chilaxing in the gorgeous locale. We loved the Chandler cottage but needed a stove to cook our own lobsters so after 2 days in this awesome cottage, we... more

We visited Sheepscot Harbour in Oct. 2008. We were renting a place about 20 miles away for the month of October and were driving around one day and happened to come across Sheepscot Harbour. We fell in love with the area and especially the gorgeous views. Roger Bintliff was wonderful to work with. We felt no pressure to buy. He... more

My wife and son (13) and I have traveled to the Boothbay Harbor region often in past 10 years. We usually stay at the Cod Cove Inn, a prettified motel up the road from Sheepscot. This year we wanted more space than a motel room provides and though we have bypassed Sheepscot Harbor on more than one occasion, we were... more

We stayed at the Sheepscot to visit Bowdoin and Colby. The room was nice as normal, but this visit was totally different. The front desk staff were a little rude when we checked out. They didn't ask how our stay was. The Room: The bathroom wasn't as clean as it had been in the past. They were really chincy, not... more

Touring the Maine coast we had three B & B's, one was full, one looked bad and no-one at home at the third. We passed this Resort, but it looked like timeshare (which it is) and expensive. Eventually we notice they offered nightly accommodation. We were givena non-water view room for $109 plus tax (very reasomable). Our room - number... more

We had rented a vacation property weeks in advance. Arrived with dogs, rods and luggage only to be totally disappointed and desperate to salvage our long awaited vacation. A realtor told us to visit the Sheepscot Harbour Resort. Wow. Not only did they accept our K9 pals but they gave us a 20% discount for our sad story. The units,... more

I stayed at the Sheepscot Harbour Village this past weekend with my mother and grandmother on a trip to Maine. We stayed in a one bedroom cottage that couldn't have been cuter and allowed us a lot more room then a hotel. The front desk staff at the hotel was very helpful and made the stay great. As a bonus,... more
