Get a nice view of the bay and Canada from this inn. There are books and antiques everywhere. Ruth, the innkeeper, tried to make our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was wonderful. The cook came in early so the men in our party could make it to their fishing trip in time. Breakfast consisted of French toast, frittata, watermelon, and sausage plus... More

My husband and I had a lovely night at The Todd House in Eastport, ME. The inn is filled with antiques and relics dating back to the Revolutionary War along with several displays of hundreds of arrowheads that the owner found digging in town and on nearby islands. Ruth was delightful and we had an excellent breakfast of spinach and... More

We stayed at the Todd House for numerous nights and it was just terrible. I can't believe the reviews saying the breakfast was delicious. I couldn't eat the breakfast most mornings. The coffee was bad and the food looked stale and not very appetizing. Ruth was very nice but the place needed to be cleaned up. It was very dirty.... More

My girlfriend and I have stayed here twice. We found it to be a memorable and enjoyable experience. The Todd House has its own special character, which from what we can tell is much like Eastport itself. The breakfast has been good both times. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Ruth was friendly and helpful. It was everything we needed... More

We stayed at the Todd house for two nights. It was a very pleasant experience! The rooms were tidy abs the bathrooms were clean. The home made breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere in the house was home like and cozy. The price was also very reasonable @$110 / night for three of us.

My boyfriend and I stay at the Todd House whenever we can and we love it and we love Ruth! The inn itself is old world and a shining example of Colonial architecture. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and shining, and the food is terrific! Ruth makes us feel like family and we can come and go... More

the antique / junk bed and mattress (on a piece of plywood, no box springs) were so uncomfortable and made so much noise that I hardly was able to sleep at all! The slightest jiggle and the thing sounded like it was going to crash. The room had dirty corners, creepy early masonic decor in upstairs bedroom....overcrowded with antique furniture... More

Filfty with dirty birds and their feathers flying all around the living room and dinning area. The food is a grab fest and presented terribly. We booked for 4 nights but left after the 1st and found another place in town, nicer, cleaner, lovely breakfast for less money. The Todd House has seen better days and the furniture are not... More

My friend and I had a large room with 2 twin beds and large private bath. The beds were very uncomfortable and bath was not up to date and lacked ammenities such as a hairdryer. "antiques" consisted of old furniture and junk. Access to the room was through the living quarters of the hostess/owner. WiFi was accessed from a chair... More

Ruth, the owner/ hostess is like visiting a dear auntie and Jackie the cook is talented and very pleasant. Stayed there on two separate vacations and am looking forward to visiting again, hopefully this summer. This place is for you if you like historical artifacts, as there are many antiques and the owner is a local historian. The things that... More
