Sleeping at the Todd House is like stepping back in time. The home has Rumford fireplaces in nearly every room and is furnished with charming antiques and paraphernalia that the owner has collected and found over the course of her life. Not far from the main street businesses, it is quiet and overlooks the ocean. But the best part of... More

We rented the Harbor Room for two nights, All the rooms are 1st rate however I believe the Harbor room the best in my opinion, mainly because of the spetacular view of the bay and Canada beyond aforded by the picture window in the bedroom area. The room is a second floor suite with its own bathroom and kitchen area,... More

While planning a family trip to Maine with our daughter from Alaska, I called several bed and breakfasts in Eastport to no avail. Ruth promptly returned my call and two rooms were booked. It is a different set up than the typical B&Bs we've been use to, but the ambiance and historical value that the oldest house on Moose Island... More

My husband was put off by the old house /waterfront smell but the mattress in our room was new, towels new and fluffy and it is a very different experience to stay in such a unique, early 1800's home. Ruth is elderly so hope someone can take over this when she decides to sell as Eastport needs places to stay. Our... More

The owner is elderly and was recovering from surgery so was not able to get up and do anything. Someone came in to prepare breakfast. Her living room is crowded and cluttered but we didn't spend much time there. She knows a lot of history and stories from the area. The breakfast area is quaint with a huge old fireplace... More

Get a nice view of the bay and Canada from this inn. There are books and antiques everywhere. Ruth, the innkeeper, tried to make our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was wonderful. The cook came in early so the men in our party could make it to their fishing trip in time. Breakfast consisted of French toast, frittata, watermelon, and sausage plus... More

My husband and I had a lovely night at The Todd House in Eastport, ME. The inn is filled with antiques and relics dating back to the Revolutionary War along with several displays of hundreds of arrowheads that the owner found digging in town and on nearby islands. Ruth was delightful and we had an excellent breakfast of spinach and... More

We stayed at the Todd House for numerous nights and it was just terrible. I can't believe the reviews saying the breakfast was delicious. I couldn't eat the breakfast most mornings. The coffee was bad and the food looked stale and not very appetizing. Ruth was very nice but the place needed to be cleaned up. It was very dirty.... More

My girlfriend and I have stayed here twice. We found it to be a memorable and enjoyable experience. The Todd House has its own special character, which from what we can tell is much like Eastport itself. The breakfast has been good both times. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Ruth was friendly and helpful. It was everything we needed... More

We stayed at the Todd house for two nights. It was a very pleasant experience! The rooms were tidy abs the bathrooms were clean. The home made breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere in the house was home like and cozy. The price was also very reasonable @$110 / night for three of us.
