Traveling for work in this part of state, and after a long day of travel I found this B&B and its owners a delight. quick check in, lovely quiet room that was excellently decorated. situated in the true down east corner of Maine, a getaway from the usual tourist traps of the state.

Thanks to TA & a bit of luck, late in the day, we were able to score a room in the main house at the Riverside Inn. Rocky/his wife were wonderful hosts and fun to talk with. Their decoration of this historic jewel B&B is nothing short of impressive. Their attention to details is visible throughout the entire house, which... More

Great place to relax. Comfortable bed. Rocky was very willing to help. Great breakfast. Shower is as hot as you want it. If you need a B&B this is the place to stay. Try the food at Helen's, too. I'll definitely stay here again. $25 fee for a dog though

The innkeepers are dedicated to making guests comfortable, with a wealth of information about the area and the best breakfasts! Their personal warmth and the charming rooms made our two day stay very special.

The Riverside Inn is the kind of place I'm always hoping to find, but rarely do. The main building is an old house, imaginatively furnished with an eclectic assortment of Victoriana and antiques from other eras. There's a living room stuffed with books, a sitting room, a riverside patio, and a breakfast room that also overlooks the river. We didn't... More

The Riverside Inn is a nice B&B to stay in if you are planning to go on a Puffin Tour in Maine. The couple that runs the inn are very friendly and the patio is a great place for a drink at the end of the day. Possibly the best part of the stay was the outstanding breakfast of pancakes... More

We stayed at this Bed and Breakfast for two nights while going on Puffin tours out of Cutler. We loved it here. Upon check in we were asked what we would like for breakfast the following morning. Breakfast was fantastic. A fresh fruit plate followed by Blueberry stuffed French Toast and sausage. We stayed in the upstairs room that is... More

It certainly is not overwhelming at first sight appearance, but other area motel were full and we were pretty tired so we decided to stop and look. Rocky and Ellen downsized their restaurant to a B&B Inn and I am glad they did. Located overlooking a beautiful bend in the river just past a little village called East Machias on... More

From the moment we arrived at the inn, we felt very welcome. The owners were more than happy to spend extra time helping us map out activities and sites to visit. She even wrote us out directions and suggested routes. We stayed in the upper coach room which was nice and quite, with fantastic view of the river. Rocky prepared... More
