Deer Isle grew on us as did the Pilgrim's inn during our 2 night stay this July. Charming island and inn , filled with simple pleasures. The Inn is nicely situated on a street lined with small shops and eateries. It is pretty centrally located on the island and an easy drive to the village of Stonington and other local... More

We were lucky to getaroomhere and appreciated it, but can someone pls kill the mosquiotes before guests arrive? We killed 8 in a matter of minutes AFTER a night of bites! Breakfast was very nice, but no choice of hot foods, though the one choice was excellent. Wewould consider another stay in a different room.

We stayed 2 nights in June, and enjoyed every second! It is very cozy and clean, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are so comfortable! We had breakfast both mornings and everything was wonderful. We were unable to have dinner there, but the dining room... More

Our first trip to ME included staying in B&B's. Pilgrim's Inn was lovely with a huge room, beautiful grounds and wonderful service. However, our first morning's breakfast was vile. Other than cold small buffet, they only have one hot food option and this morning it was Eggs Benedict. Apparently, the cook has no idea how to make this dish. We... More

Dear Gayle, we are sorry to hear you were so disappointed with your breakfast at the Inn during your stay. We do offer a traditional Eggs Benedict, but also like to offer variations to our guests, including a tomato and spinach, and occasionally a sausage variation served on sourdough toast. Both have been popular with our guests, but were are... More

This is the third time myself or my family has stayed at the inn. I LOVE this hotel (and the restaurant). The accomodations are fantasic, romantic and lovely. WiFi is available, and believe me that is a rarity on the island. Breakfast is always phenomenal (continential buffet and one entree daily) and included in the stay. Make sure to book... More

I stayed at the Pilgrims Inn this weekend. It was my first visit to Deer Isle. The area is beautiful, and not busy with tourists. There are many things to see and do. Kayaking, fishing, hiking, just driving and seeing one great view after another. Many galleries and artisan shops to see. The Inn is in a beautiful spot, across... More

Our stay at the Pilgrim's Inn exceeded our expectations! The rooms are clean, rustic and lovely, our bed was so comfortable and we slept well swallowed up in our down comforter. Upon arrival, the bartendress prepared two perfect old fashions that we enjoyed sitting at the water's edge. So relaxing after a long travel day. Dinner in the Whale's Rib... More

Pilgrim's Inn is beautifully preserved and updated, and the grounds and setting are lovely. Rooms are very comfortable and charming; breakfasts are varied and generally excellent. I was traveling alone so I didn't use the common rooms, but I would have definitely used those spaces for family or friends traveling together, and I certainly appreciated the coffee/tea, cookies and apples... We stayed here in June in one of the cottages. Everything was great. The breakfasts and dinner in their restaurant were also very good. It is a comfortable place with excellent staff. Although mostly, we are out, the little kitchen was well equipped and sufficient for 1 lobster dinner. We can't wait to come back again!

We stayed at Pilgrim's Inn for four nights in May. Besides the beautiful views of the water, the 1793 inn was well taken care of. The antiques and room decor was so pretty and comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent with fresh fruit, muffins, omelettes, blueberry pancakes, etc. We had excellent dinners at the Whale's Rib Tavern for two nights, plus after... More
