This is our second stay at the Pilgrim's Inn, and it was as wonderful as the first time we visited over eight years ago. Even though it was built in the 18th century, it has been totally updated to an upscale inn while still remaining true to its historical charm and place in the Deer Isle community. The restaurant is... More

This place makes me wish I had not ever set foot in a regular hotel. This place is a diamond in the rough. Just adorable!!! We stayed in Ginny cottage 2 and it had a kitchen and sitting room/living room that gave us lots of room, besides the obvious bedroom with a heater in the room. Neat and clean with... More

If you want a fantastic, quiet, view, chairs by the water with crabs scurrying at your feet, and food that is second to none, take the time to drive to this old historic inn. We stayed in Room 5 and it was large, comfortable and very clean.

This is an extremely charming inn with friendly, helpful staff. This was a first visit to Maine for both my boyfriend and me and we were not disappointed. First of all, the staff are extremely warm and welcoming and they made terrific suggestions to help these first-timers plan a really well-balanced week of vacation! We loved the pond in the... More

The Pilgrim’s Inn is a great place to stay; the inn is very old and has maintained its old charm. There is a pond behind the inn that makes a great place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. The inn keeper and staff were very nice. Biggest regret was not taking them up on dinner reservations prior to... More

I typically stay in Select Registry Inns then check Trip Advisor to confirm. I was surprised with Pilgrims Inn. While Room 7 was nice, there was a step up to the bathroom, that while there was a night light, could have been some what dangerous. There was no way to keep the windows open due to the traffic noise at... More

The Pilgrim's Inn has a slightly stuffy old fashioned feel to it, but perhaps that's the burden of history and heritage. Certainly couldn't fault the welcome or the cottage we occupied, which was actually smartly designed and with an attractive deck overlooking the lake. The fully equipped kitchen was useful and the Inn provides an excellent base for exploring the... More

This 1793 classic inn has been restored to perfection. Every room is clean and tastefully appointed with every modern convenience. Each morning fresh brewed coffee is at the end of the hall (just in case you can't wait for breakfast). We only made it to one breakfast but it was delicious! We stayed in the Rugosa Cottage overlooking a peaceful... More

We spent three nights in July 2015. The inn is lovely- well maintained, spotlessly clean. The rooms are beautiful and several large rooms for reading, relaxing, etc. There is a lovey pond in the back with chairs and that is a beautiful place for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The innkeepers and staff were friendly and... More

The beds were very comfortable, the flowers were lovely and the view from our room of the mill pond were really relaxing (even though it was quite overcast) the wi-fi was very efficient. Our iPads worked like a charm. They even had a computer for guest to use. A very nice library and plenty of games were available. Dinner and... More
