This Inn is a delightful find in a very charming town but what makes the stay all the more enjoyable is the kindness and consideration of the staff that work in the Inn. The food is also of a very high standard and many people came to eat here even though they staying at the Inn.

We spent a night a the Hartstone Inn. We received a warm greeting by Emecia(sp). She check us in to our French Thyme suite after a brief tour of the main inn. The accommodations were lovely, well appointed and quaint. Spent several hours just relaxing; rocking on the deck and admiring the gardens. We attended their daily happy hour for... More

Stayed in the same room on the way up and back from Bar Harbor. We essentially had a suite with a private patio that was beautiful. The location was great, walking distance from town and the harbor. Breakfast was very good - but rich. The owner was friendly and offered great suggestions for the area. We would definitely go back.

We needed a short get away to unwind and couldn't think of a better spot than the Hartstone. On the way up, we got a call that they had a vacancy in the Sunflower Suite and wanted to know if we would like a free upgrade. Special treatment before we even got there, what's better than that! As always, everything... More

We totally enjoyed our experience at hartstone but wish I would have have a bit more info on the room. We stayed in the sunflower room and knew it was 3 flights up. Once there the room was spacious but it had low ceilings in several places and I am 6'4" and I bumped my head several times. However, the... More

It's difficult to find descriptions over and above what everyone else has contributed. I can just add that it's all absolutely true. We stayed at the Hartstone while our daughter spent the week at camp in Freeport. She was with us the first night, so I can highly recommend the Rosehip Suite (in the Hideaway building a block down from... More

We stayed in the Cottage Suite which is in the main building but has a private outside entrance. The room was beautifully appointed and had many of the small amenities that often are not typical in many hotels/inns. As an example, the room included an IPod docking station, a corkscrew, body creams and lotions beyond the typical shampoo and soaps.... More

I was traveling for business and booked this last minute. It was a wonderful experience. The restaurant was even accommodated a last minute reservation. I was not comfortable dining in the main dining room with the array of couples and they set me up in another area where I could enjoy my meal and also get some work done. Breakfast... More

Stayed here for two nights. We were in a suite over in the "Hideaway". The suite was plenty large and nicely appointed. The bed was a bit soft for our taste. It seemed a bit worn to me, but don't if it was just soft or worn. Breakfast was nice - and prepared to order. We ate dinner there one... More

This is an immaculate B&B run by nice people. The rooms are nice and the Inn is upscale. The location close to town is a plus. Parking is free. They have nice paintings on the walls which are for sale. The town of Camden is quite nice
