We stayed here in min March and couldn't have been happier. We stayed in the Paris room which had its own fireplace and was adorned with beautiful paintings of Paris and the area was perfect. The inn is in the center of town so you can walk everywhere which we did but also close to a few other towns for... More

My fiancee, her family, and I spent a weekend at The Hartstone last weekend (March 2015). The Hartstone is a lovely, classic-feeling New England Inn located right in the heart of Camden, Maine. But what sets The Hartstone apart is the food and the people. Breakfast was incredible - their daily juices were spectacular and everything was fresh and tasty.... More

it's been awhile since I was here. I'd go back asap. If I visit the area again, I would definately stay here. Ask for a room with a private entrance if you are not an Inn person. More privacy. I stayed in the rear room with a loft bedroom and private patio. Loved it. The food is fantastic and included... More

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hartstone Inn, the hospitality and rooms were very good and the location in the centre of Camden was excellent. I am sure this in Inn would be well suited for a lot of people, but our only downside was that it was a little formal for us, but don't let this put... More

Second stay and third visit to restaurant - hospitality marks all that is done beginning with check-in and room orientation to table-side visits each meal from Chef Michael or Mary Jo. One is made to feel comfortable and valued as a guest. Evening restaurant meals are extravagantly presented, addictively flavored and very reasonably priced. The Hartstone and the Camden-Rockland setting... More

We stayed here in October of 2014 and it was absolutely magical! Our room was elegant but cozy and well appointed with luxurious linens, robes, soaps, lotions and a jacuzzi. The entire Inn was spotless. Our evening began with a specialty cocktail and hors d'oeuvres in the parlor where we could chat with other guests and the owner of the... More

We stayed at The Hartstone two nights in February in the Hideaway. Everything was extraordinary, especially the five course dinner that greeted us upon arrival. We enjoyed the cuisine so much, we chose to dine our second night at the inn. The wait staff is highly trained, attentive, and welcoming. The chef accommodates special diets. There is plenty of common... More

We recently stayed at the Hartstone for a one night getaway that included a five course dinner and breakfast. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Our room in the manor suite was well appointed, the bed was very comfortable, gas fireplace a great plus for a cold Maine day. Very clean and obviously well cared for. The dining... More

Stayed for just a night, enjoyed the 5 course chef sampler in the restaurant. The kitchen was very accomodating to all dietary restrictions and made the most delicious food. Because no one was in our room the following night they told us late check-out would not be a problem which allowed us to take another bath after snowshoeing.

We stayed at The Hartstone in February in the Carriage House Suite. This was our second visit. There are MANY positives that brought us back: The staff is wonderful - attentive, thoughtful, always available. The food is delicious - interesting, varied, beautifully presented. The location is perfect - close to downtown, but quiet. The rooms are cozy - fireplaces, robes,... More
