We stayed in the Toscana room. It has a 4 post king bed and is very cosy. It is in the mid range price of rooms that this property offers. We loved it and would stay again. The only other time we stayed with Hartstone we stayed in their satellite property nearby in the Sunflower Suite which was amazing but... More

As a disabled traveller I have walking difficulties & this had been conveyed to the Hotel before booking, however on arrival there was no-one to greet us & having parked at the back of the Hotel were then informed we were in the 'Hideaway' - which was across the main road & down another road! On reaching the Hideaway we... More

My husband and I stayed in the Hartstonne Inn on our first trip to Maine. We thought it was an excellent location, allowing us to walk right into Camden for a convenient drink, meal, or shopping. I was worried about a few reviews where people said it's right next to a Walgreens parking lot. That became a big joke to... More

There were two couples traveling and we spent two nights. The pictures are somewhat deceiving for the Carriage House. The sitting room and bedroom were small and lack privacy, but the issue was there was an odor that we all smelled. The staff was able to accommodate our request for a room change. We were changed to the Normandy Suite.... More

This is a beautiful B and B. Everything they have is the best, all quality. They give you every amenity you can think of. The breakfast is gourmet. We did not get to have dinner because they did not serve when we were there. However, I understand it is excellent. The only draw back is the front room gets the... More

We recently spent two nights at the Hartstone in the Tally Ho room. The bed was so comfortable, I am looking into a new mattress at home. We had never stayed in a B&B that was as attentive to our needs as they were at the Hartstone. The Inn is so well maintained that it is hard to believe it... More

We spent one night in the Tally Ho room (en route to Acadia). The room was really cute and well appointed (decorated with foxes and horses) and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The bathroom was two steps down the hall and we never saw anyone on the way to or from the... More

We found the restaurant very good. We order the 5 course chef's selection and found it excellent. Breakfasts were creative, healthy and soooo good (bird seed waffles...yum!). If you like B and B's this one has everything you could ask for. The hosts and staff are warm and inviting, rooms have everything you want and very cozy, good food, beautiful... More

We stayed at this lovely Victorian Inn on August 21st and couldn't say enough about our visit. We felt extraordinarily fortunate to secure an outstanding (Garden) Suite without a reservation. The property is perfectly located close to all amenities and a short walk from the waterfront. The staff could not have been more professional, attentive or accommodating...special thanks to Megan!... More

My wife, daughter and I spent 3 nights at the Hartstone Inn in August. It is conveniently located very near central Camden. Our two rooms were nicely furnished and the common areas were great for mingling with other guests. The inn is owned by Michael Salmon who is also the chef. The breakfasts are unsurpassed and the dinners outstanding. Overall... More
