We've stayed here four times now...have only reviewed it once (our first stay), felt it was time for an update. We've never had a bad stay here. We've stayed in the Main House and the Hideaway and have enjoyed both locations...the rooms are always exactly how they are described on the wed-site. Some people must have issues with road noise... We stayed at the Hartstone Inn for the first time last weekend. It was all we hoped for and more. The room we had - Toscana - was quaint and very comfortable. The wine at check in was a very nice touch. We ate at the restaurant the second night. We had the Tasting Menu. Every dish was well done.... More

I stayed at the Hartstone Inn last week en route to visit family in Nova Scotia. The accommodation and food far surpassed my expectations. The staff were friendly and very helpful. This will be my stop anytime I am in Camden.

We stayed here for seven nights and enjoyed having it as our base. The owners and staff are very customer focused and very friendly. They are helpful if you need directions or advice as to were or what to do. The rooms are neat and are and have that Maine old look. They have a great place outside by the... More

This inn is truly special. We stayed in the carraige suite on the ground floor. The decorating is gorgeous and the attention to detail in this room and throughout the property is really special. It is a beautiful, well looked after property with a lovely outdoor seating area as well. The dining experience is not to be missed either. The... More

This was our second stay at the Hartstone Inn and our fourth trip to Camden Maine. Last trip we had a room in the main building which was very nice, but this time we opted for a suite which was perfect. We had a bedroom, and a separate living room with a refrigerator. The breakfast every morning was superb, as... More

My wife and I recently spent 5 nights in Camden Maine and were fortunate enough to have stayed at the Hartstone Inn and enjoyed an exquisite dinner there our first night.Over the past 15 years or so, we have succeeded in visiting practically every town on the Maine coast from Kittery through Camden and can honestly agree with the concept... We simply could not imagine coming to Maine without visiting Camden and staying at the Hartstone Inn (our second stay here and the best part of this trip to Maine). The restaurant was on top of it's game with interesting dishes and impeccable service as always. We stayed in the main house on this visit and were surprised how well... More

Once again, the Hartstone Inn has spoiled us for all other inns and hotels. It is beautifully decorated, classic yet charming, luxurious but warm and friendly. The service is outstanding - my husband and I are always made to feel like friends rather than customers. Breakfast and dinner at the Inn are not to be missed. We ate all of... More

Amazing! This is what every B&B should strive to be! Stayed w/my mom & sister for a long weekend. We were greeted by Briana who was warm & friendly & very articulate. She showed us around the main building, inviting us into the parlor where they serve coffee in the morning, cookies & tea/coffee in the afternoon, cocktails in the... More
