We stayed at this lovely Victorian Inn on August 21st and couldn't say enough about our visit. We felt extraordinarily fortunate to secure an outstanding (Garden) Suite without a reservation. The property is perfectly located close to all amenities and a short walk from the waterfront. The staff could not have been more professional, attentive or accommodating...special thanks to Megan!... More

My wife, daughter and I spent 3 nights at the Hartstone Inn in August. It is conveniently located very near central Camden. Our two rooms were nicely furnished and the common areas were great for mingling with other guests. The inn is owned by Michael Salmon who is also the chef. The breakfasts are unsurpassed and the dinners outstanding. Overall... More

We stayed in the Viola Room in the Hideaway instead of the main Inn, but it was very quiet and the room was large, with a sitting area and a nice bathroom with a great shower. Breakfasts were two courses and very delicious and the tables are set beautifully. The best part of the inn is the lovely and gracious... More

My wife and I were so fortunate to stay at this Inn last June. I had read the many fine reviews and now know why. The people here are so kind and welcoming. The food here is outrageously good, the rooms very clean and full of character. Easily the best food I have had at an Inn and I would... More

We've stayed here four times now...have only reviewed it once (our first stay), felt it was time for an update. We've never had a bad stay here. We've stayed in the Main House and the Hideaway and have enjoyed both locations...the rooms are always exactly how they are described on the wed-site. Some people must have issues with road noise... We stayed at the Hartstone Inn for the first time last weekend. It was all we hoped for and more. The room we had - Toscana - was quaint and very comfortable. The wine at check in was a very nice touch. We ate at the restaurant the second night. We had the Tasting Menu. Every dish was well done.... More

I stayed at the Hartstone Inn last week en route to visit family in Nova Scotia. The accommodation and food far surpassed my expectations. The staff were friendly and very helpful. This will be my stop anytime I am in Camden.

We stayed here for seven nights and enjoyed having it as our base. The owners and staff are very customer focused and very friendly. They are helpful if you need directions or advice as to were or what to do. The rooms are neat and are and have that Maine old look. They have a great place outside by the... More

This inn is truly special. We stayed in the carraige suite on the ground floor. The decorating is gorgeous and the attention to detail in this room and throughout the property is really special. It is a beautiful, well looked after property with a lovely outdoor seating area as well. The dining experience is not to be missed either. The... More

This was our second stay at the Hartstone Inn and our fourth trip to Camden Maine. Last trip we had a room in the main building which was very nice, but this time we opted for a suite which was perfect. We had a bedroom, and a separate living room with a refrigerator. The breakfast every morning was superb, as... More
