We stayed 2 nights mid-week in October. Our Sweet Woodruff room in The Hideaway House was up a very narrow and quite steep staircase. We drug the suitcases up by ourselves. The room was quite small, but charming. The bed was very comfy and we didn't notice any street noise. We encountered 2 glitches. The complimentary breakfast is great, if... more

My spouse arranged a weekend in Camden Maine to start my journey into retirement. I am so glad she did! It couldn't have been better!! We stayed in the French Thyme suite this past Friday and Halloween. We were greeted by a wonderful hostess from Hungary who showed us to our room and invited us to cocktails which were very... more

My wife and I spent two lovely days and nights at the Hartstone Inn in October. This was the perfect place to spend the weekend during the autumn. Our room andall of the public rooms were fresh and clean with no detail forgotten. We planned to stay one night but immediately decided to stay another. The owners were friendly and... more

I returned to the Hartstone Inn this year and once again it provided a wonderful way of relaxing. Although the Inn is in the centre of Camden, the rooms are so beautiful and tranquil, you would not guess that the Inn is close to the town. The staff are helpful and have lots of suggestions for trips, restaurants and activities.... more

We recently stayed at the Hartstone on a getaway to Camden, Maine. We were so impressed with our visit that we felt compelled to tell everyone! There were a number of things that made this Select Registry property stand out: 1. The Inn boasts a really genuine staff who seemed almost as though they were a part of big family... more

My wife and I had the pleasure ofstaying in Camden at The Hartstone Inn in October. Upon our arrival we were wowed by the looks of the Victorian building. When we went in we were welcomed by a wonderful staff who were attentive to our every need. They shook our hands and introduced themselves. Upon reviewing our reservation they asked... more

My husband and I have stayed at many B&B's throughout the US and Europe and decided to stay at the Hartstone Inn while traveling throughout New England with another couple. The Inn itself was easy to locate and close to town, but needed some minor attention to its charming exterior and maybe the removal of some of the country clutter... more

We made last minute reservations @ the inn so we had 2 different rooms. Our 1st night was in the Lavender room which was not in the main building. I requested a room with 2 bedrooms which the Lavender room is not but was told no problem they could provide a rollaway bed. I did specify we needed a room... more

We loved it all. We were there for our anniversary, Columbus Day Weekend. We were surprised that most of the guests were from outside of New England, most were repeat customers, now we know why! The suites are just lovely, the beds were so comfortable, the thread count appropriately high. The owners. Mary Jo and Michael would sent you off each... more

We spent two nights at the Hartstone in the Victorian room. The Inn is decorated in a lavish and over furnished way, but it works. The bed was very comfortable with a Tempur- like mattress and pillows, just like home! Yes it is true that there is noise from US route1, but we did not find this obtrusive. Other commentators... more
