Friendly, gracious, and knowledgeable proprietors. Delicious food. Comfortable rooms. Perfect location to walk to town. Easy parking. Convivial atmosphere. If you come to Camden, Maine (and you should), then this is the place to stay. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough great things about the Captain Swift Inn! Particularly the Innkeepers Linda and Norm! They are two of the nicest people ever. My new fiancé proposed to me the first day we arrived and Linda and Norm were so genuinely happy for us - it was so touching! They even left us a bottle of wine and... More

I chose the Captain Swift because of the price, from a huge selection of online listings. When I arrived, Norm was extremely friendly, showing me around and asking if there was anything I didn't want to see at breakfast. Not wanting to seem snooty, I said no - the truth is, I'm used to pancakes and scrambled eggs, hate vegetables,... More

My fiance and I spent 2 nights at the Inn and left wishing we could stay many more! The innkeepers were a delight and very helpful/informative about the area. The rooms and inn were cozy and quaint- yet modern enough to complete with any hotel accommodations. And the breakfasts were scrumptious and filling! We'd both highly recommend the place.

My mother, 24 year old daughter and I (three generations) stayed in a suite at the Captain Swift Inn this past week, and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations, hospitality and overall experience. The inn keepers, Linda and Norm, were always available to suggest interesting sites and make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were fantastic!... More

This is our second time staying at Captain Swift Inn....a few years ago we traveled with our two college aged children and now we are traveling without children which makes the Inn perfect for families and couples. It is easy to get to town and quiet at night. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfasts amazing, I wanted to take... More

We just had our third wonderful experience at Captain Swift's Inn. Great rooms, breakfasts, and very helpful and friendly inn keepers! The location is very convenient to the harbour front which helps with parking. Norm and Linda have lots of ideas for sightseeing. Very fun to meet other guests from all over the world.A very welcoming inn.....

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the inn. The rooms were beautiful. The breakfast was five star delicious. The owners were the best hosts with an abundance of information for things to do in the area. Will definitely be going back!

This is a great B&B to stay at in Camden. The rooms are spotless with all of the amenities you could need. The morning breakfast is enough to take you to dinner with a small afternoon snack...which is also offered at the inn. Norm & Linda can provide information on activities and restaurants in the mid-coast region. They are available... More
