We visited the Camden Windward House during the Winter on the way to an indoor Soccer Game. We were in a comfortable and well appointed room complete with claw footed tub and bathrobes. Our innkeeper, Kristen, was very pleasant and accommodating. One of the best aspects of our stay was the made to order breakfast. Tons of Vegan and Gluten... More

Thank you so much for your kind words. I had such a lovely time speaking to both of you at breakfast. I hope your soccer game went well. I appreciate you mentioning our made to order breakfasts. Our breakfast, in addition to our cozy rooms, is one of our defining assets. Jesse and I have crafted the menu over 10... More

Kristen and Jesse are wonderful hosts. Very friendly, informative, helpful and accommodating. We stayed in the Carriage room with its large comfy bed and gas fireplace. It snowed one of the days and night we were there which made it a cozy place to hunker in and read. The breakfast is OUTSTANDING. Jesse and Kristen have created an absolutely delicious... More

We just returned home after a 2 night stay in the Quarterdeck Room. It was a large room with a very comfortable king sized bed and separate sitting area. We loved the 55" TV and the cozy gas fireplace. This room has a large private deck overlooking Mt. Battie. The best part about our stay was the incredible breakfasts by... More

My girlfriend and I planned our stay in the quarterdeck room for two nights but the entire experience at Windward was so fantastic we decided to stay for a third. The room was beautiful, spacious, extremely clean and the accommodations we on point. We stayed at Windward because of the vegan friendly breakfast options and we were not disappointed. The... More

Just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and waterfront. Close to Camden Hills State Park, too. Beautiful rooms and nice grounds. Our room was quiet and cozy, plus it had a gas fireplace that was really nice. Excellent breakfast cooked to order and really nice inn keepers, too. We loved this place and can't wait to visit again!

We stayed in the Quarterdeck Room in the back of the house up a flight of outside stairs. It was quiet, private, very comfortable, and had a beautiful view of Mt. Battie which was splendidly dressed in fall foliage. The bed was very comfortable. There was a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The bathroom mirror with sensors for lights and... More

I’m going to start this review, saying it was my very FIRST time staying at a bed and breakfast! The owners were very nice and we had reserved a room upstairs. The room was beautiful but we are mature, the stairs steep and the owner noticed that was an issue and offered us another room with only two stairs! It... More

My wife and I were just there for 2 nights. Jessie and his wife (never got her name) were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was superb! Only drawback was the hot water situation. Could only get water to kind of medium warm. I'd actually give 4.5 stars, but that option isn't available. Still, a great... More

Hello Paul, Thank you for your review. I also want to say thank you for alerting me to the hot water issue. While you were here, we had a very bad rain storm. The Inn, built in 1854, Greek Revival in style, has many hot water heaters. We did not know that one of the heaters was affected by the... More

Wonderful place to stay, gracious hosts and super breakfasts. Only a 10 minute walk to the center of Camden and the waterfront. Off-street parking was a plus. Great afternoon snacks of homemade goodies.

We only stayed for one night, but I would definitely come back. We stayed in the Quarterdeck Room at the back of the house. It had a lovely ceiling fan above the bed which kept us cool, and possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, with a great vegetarian selection and... More
