We stayed at the Belmont Inn for the fourth time while passing through Maine on our trip up the coast of Maine and Canada. Anita's warm and kind hospitality make it feel almost as if we are coming home. We have stayed now in spring, winter and summer and have been captivated by the town and the inn on all... More

Celebrated my mothers 70th birthday at The Belmont and Anita helped to make it unforgettable! The inn is super clean, airy, charming and so relaxing. Her breakfasts which are wonderful are made with quality ingredients and artfully presented. We could not have chosen a better place to stay.

We recently visited and highly recommend the Belmont Inn, near the bay within the picturesque, somewhat tony village of Camden. Had a lovely, comfortable and huge room (Painted Lady). Enjoyed good breakfasts with other interesting, well traveled guests, including several repeat visitors to the inn. The wrap around porch overlooking well tended, beautiful gardens was a great place to sit... More

My daughter and I always go to Maine for summer vacation, and one of the highlights of our trip around the state is to stay a few days at the Belmont Inn. This year was out third year there and I can only say that as usual we wish our visit could have lasted for a much longer time. The... More

We just concluded our second stay at the Belmont Inn and, like the first, found every aspect of it wholly enjoyable. The inn itself is charming and pleasant, from the beautiful common area and breakfast porch downstairs to the rooms themselves. We stayed in the Allen Suite (treat yourself and book the entire suite; you'll be glad you did) and... More

We had a wonderful 4 days at the Belmont Inn at Camden, Maine. The innkeeper, Anita, was great , very helpful in giving us ideas on what we should see and where we should eat during our stay. The Inn is charming and perfectly located. It was an easy walk to the downtown area. Highly recommended.

Quintessential Maine experience! Innkeeper, Anita, is fantastic. So charming, friendly, and an amazing cook. Sitting on the porch playing chess or reading the paper with a light breeze and lush garden in view makes it feel like time stops. Short stroll to harbor and Main Street.

My husband and I have been to the Camden/Rockland area many times. We've always enjoyed ourselves but are struck by how much Anita and the Belmont Inn have added to our experience. The Belmont Inn is off the main road so is quiet while remaining conveniently located to "downtown" Camden and local travel routes. It's wrap-around porch and well tended... More

The home is lovely..but we did have a few hesitations..innkeeper was not available when we arrived, and was unavailable during much of our stay...at times not being on the premises when we were looking for a recommendation or a small thing...we felt breakfasts to be rushed...also there was this strangeness with an olive oil company (franchise?) where Anita was very... I am truly sorry that these guests didn’t have an absolutely wonderful stay at my inn. If I could, I would contact them directly to offer my apology and a one-night stay, on the house. Since I am unable to do that, I hope that they read this and contact me so I can make good on that offer. I’m... More

On arriving at the Belmont you are drawn by it's warmth and charm. My husband and I were tired and cold. Anita greeted us,lit the fireplace, offered something to drink and within minutes we were warm and very relaxed. The rooms are comfortable and quiet providing a good nights rest. Anita's attention to detail, creative and accommodating breakfasts, informative and... More
