We had a second-floor room, with a king-size bed. The room itself was large, and quiet, and well-kept. Furniture was nice, although one of the two padded-chairs was basically unusable (stuck in a corner behind a pillar) . Shower was good. The lighting was a little dim (the three-way-switch table-lamps had only low-wattage CFLs in the them, and they were... More

Last year we stayed here for a post Christmas getaway and enjoyed our stay. So, we decided to stay again this year. The experience was the same, clean, comfortable and spacious room on the third floor. The location is hard to beat. Plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Recommended.

Great off season rates. We were here for Thanksgiving. Third floor room was a bit of a walk but we just went out in the morning and came back in the evening. A bit of breakfast would have been nice and more convenient. Friendly staff. Nice room. Clean. Quiet. Nicely decorated.

I have stayed at a few B&B's within Camden, and while The Inn at Camden Place lacks the polish, luxury and 'homey' feeling of other establishments, its central location and relatively good rates make it ideal as a place to crash after a day of exploring downtown. Don't expect a breakfast (continental or otherwise), but there is a complimentary Keurig... More

loved this little inn, we had a room right over the water so it was very peaceful. Will definately go back. Right in the downtown area, was a great location. Not noisy at all and the staff were great.

We stayed here in August 2015 and loved it. Was great to be right in town and the room was spacious and very comfortable. Had trouble with the WiFi the first night because of a storm but it was fixed the next day (if this happens, park next to the Rockport public library or go down to the Samoset in... More

Small inn in a former wool mill, built over the Megunticook River. Our room (I think it was #3, to the right at the top of the stairs) was cute. Unlike the review below, our furniture -- including the overstuffed chair and foot stool -- was fine, the bed mattress was reasonaby hard (I don't like a soft mattress), there... More

Big, comfortable room, open your window and get the sound of the rushing mill stream that runs right under the building. Thankfully no more tanning going on in the area so everything smells nice. This is a great location in the middle of town, walking distance everywhere. We particularly liked the breakfast place just downstairs.

We were in room #6. Ceiling sheet rock seams were popping. Wallpaper was peeling. 2 of 4 plantation shutters were broken. Carpet was bleach stained near the sink. Mattress was way too soft and sagging. The bed frame was the kind you get free from a mattress company. Light streamed in on all four sides of the door, bright enough... More

Quaint hotel within walking distance of the harbor, with shops and restaurants. Overall, a great experience! The only thing lacking from this hotel was an elevator, which made getting your bags all the way up to the third floor a bit of a challenge. Large room, and friendly, helpful staff.
