This motel is right on route 1 as you travel into the town of Camden. Although it is close to the road and we had the room on the end of the building closest to the road, there was no road noise and it was nice and quiet. The rooms are older, but kept very clean. We had a mini-suite... more

I can echo the previous reviews. A good place to stay and although we were only there for one night would have been happy to stay for a longer visit. We walked into Camden and as has been said, the return is on an incline, we managed ok. No complaints at all. more

My family of 4 just stayed for 1 night this past week at the Cedar Crest Inn. We had a very pleasant stay. We were originally booked in a 2 Dbl room that was located in the front building but were upgraded to a 2 Q room located at the rear of the property. The property seemed very well taken... more

We spent 5 nights at this motel on an Elderhostel Hiking Trip. The food was wonderful, the staff very accommodating and the grounds lovingly cared for with many flowers and attractive landscaping. Local attractions, the library and nearby Rockland, ME art museum and art galleries made it all the more pleasant. Will stay there again when we return to Maine.... more

Good location about a ten-minute walk from Camden. Very clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. (We had a good-sized one-room "mini-suite" with two queen beds and stayed one night en route from Boston to Bar Harbor.) Computer in lobby for free guest use. Restaurant is closed on Mondays so an adequate (free) continental breakfast is served on that day. more

Stopped for an impromptu 1-night stay because I didn't feel like driving any more in a rain storm and hadn't planned a stay in B&B like I would usually prefer. For a roadside motel, the rate was a bit high ($125+tax w/ AAA discount), but I have to give them their props. It was the largest, cleanest motel room one... more

The Cedar Crest is a beautiful small motel that reminded me of the type of inns my parents stayed in when I was a child. The room my wife and I stayed in was the cleanest room we had during our one week trip to Maine. The $85 rate was unbelievable. The grounds are well kept and very well lighted.... more

Just returned from two nights in a deluxe queen room. We were pleasantly surprised by the well-kept appearance of the property from the street. Our check-in was quick and pleasant (as was our check-out), and our room was ready a couple of hours early. The room itself had more of a bedroom feeling than a bland hotel room - very... more
