Timbercliffe offers comfortable and tranquil hospitality in a marvelous place on the Maine Coast. Dave and Karen go out of their way to serve their guests and provide a charming B&B experience. The Inn is beautifully decorated and meticulously kept. The wonderful porch welcomes you. It is a wonderful place to relax with a book. Breakfast is picture perfect, delicious... More

First time ever in a B&B. Wonderful location, wonderful house, wonderful hosts. We had the largest of the 6 rooms and that made it even more special. The hosts Dave and Karen could not have been any nicer. 15 minute walk into town, right by the main road, great porch to sit out and enjoy. Homemade snacks, free beverages, excellent... More

Had a fantastic couple of days in Camden staying at the Timbercliffe Inn. Beautiful home a short distance from the main shopping area in Camden. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Ours was in the front of the house and had water views, a gas fireplace with a sitting area. The owners were super helpful and friendly. Their home became... More

My husband and I (and some friends) just got back from Camden, Maine. We stayed at Timbercliffe Cottage and had a wonderful time. Karen and Dave are very gracious hosts. Karen's breakfasts were excellent and both were very knowledgeable with the area and beyond. They had snacks available for us in the afternoon as well as soda's, coffee, tea, water,... More

Timbercliffe is an historic home in a beautiful and spacious setting. David and Karen, your hosts, are everything others have said - he's gregarious and charming and she's quietly lovely AND she prepares the most inventive and delicious breakfasts. Our first course on our first day was an oatmeal soufflé! You can only hope she makes it while you're there.... More

I can't express just how incredible our stay was. Dave and Karen were perfect hosts. Their cottage was like something in a book. So much charm, and attention to even the smallest details (ex. a dark colored washcloth labeled specifically for makeup **Only women can truly appreciate something like that in places with all white towels!!) We stayed in the... More

One can only second all the glowing comments made by others but I want to add my own perspective and thanks to Dave and Karen for a special week on the Maine coast. I picked Timbercliffe based on TripAdvisor reviews and as always they were right on the mark. Dave and Karen are the perfect B&B hosts; thoughtful, welcoming and... More

Not much to say that hasn't already been said! We stayed just one night. Really enjoyed the GoodWyfe Mary suite...private and we liked leaving the blinds up to see the sun coming up with the water view. Breakfast was exceptional! There's a reason they have all these good reviews!

Camden was our favourite spot on the North Maine Coast, and Timbercliffe Cottage – a beautiful old house set in delightful gardens a good way back from the road, (which means it's quiet) – proved to be the perfect place for our all-too-brief stay. The cottage is decorated and furnished tastefully and elegantly, nothing over the top. Innkeepers David and... More

What's not to like? Oh I know..no big screen TV. Use their free wi-fi to stream video if you are into that. Otherwise appreciate a perfect Maine B&B right down to dark colored washcloth labeled “Make-up” to scrape off the grime of pulling lobster pots all day. Fluffy towels of course. Delightful breakfast, all toiletries, ice machine, parking, our room... More
