This was our first time going up to Maine and I dug though TA for quite a while trying to find a good place to stay. We first started looking around Bar Harbor and then worked our way down the coast a bit. We came across some pages online about the Camden area and how it was really nice and... More

My husband & I both love Camden & were very happy to try out the lodge for our anniversary. It was wonderful & we only wish we'd brought our puppy Stella too! My husband ordered flowers & chocolate covered strawberries which were delivered & set up while we went out for brunch. Such a nice thing to come "home" to.... More

Great little property with large, comfortable units with a view. Close to the center of the small town and bay. We walked to the top of Mt. Beattie, a four mile hike from the hotel. Great views from the top of the area and coast.

Loved The Lodge at Camden Hills. Not only did they allow our two dogs to stay; it was immaculate. Did not appear as if a dog had ever stayed there. Very friendly staff. Very welcoming. Definitely a winner!

The rooms were very nice with a fire place. Though I would have liked a gas fireplace the wood one was nice. The linens were white and also quite nice. The kitchen utensils were minimal at best. 1 spoon for coffee let alone eating. Each day we left, house cleaning came in and shut off the heat and the room... More

While we've had so many great guests with great reviews, It saddens me to see this one. We strive for excellence and to make all of our guest's stays an enjoyable one. We were unaware of any issues like the spoon fiasco and the heat until you checked out and notified us. It was then taken care of immediately. I... More

So - we bought a coupon, and any coupon'ers know that sometimes... when you have a coupon... you don't get the best experience. Not true for the Lodge. First, I cannot explain how simply lovely the lady and gentleman who worked the desk that weekend were (apologies for not recalling the name). Honestly, their demeanour made the stay for me.... More

This was my husband's first visit to Maine and he fell in love with it as I have over the years. It was a first for both of us to be in Camden and we could not have stayed at t a better place. We were celebrating our 4th anniversary. We can't wait to go back. Kelly was delightful and... More

When I booked it originally I booked just a regular room but called Kelly to see if I could upgrade to a cottege when I saw them online and she graciously accommodated me. When I arrived I was very graciously greeted by Phil (a dog). I felt like I was right at home. From the time we arrived till the... More

We didn't want to leave it was so peaceful and serene. The room was clean and the view of Penobscot Bay was excellent. Kelly was friendly, informative and her "boys" were fun too. It was our "engage-moon" and the jacuzzi and wood burning fireplace [with plenty of wood stored inside] were very romantic along with the comfy sheets on the... More
