It was clean, comfortable and absolutely worth it. We went in the winter and it was really cozy. I can also see it being a nice getaway in the warmer months. The bed was super comfortable. Owner was super nice.

This was the best getaway! Purchased on Living Social and made a weekend of it with my boyfriend. We stayed in the Snow Cottage, it was perfect for the weekend, and had everything we needed. Loved the fireplace and the jacuzzi - bed was incredibly comfortable.. The cottage was conveniently close to downtown and other areas. Kelly was very nice,... More

As the title says…for us it couldn’t get any better. What a place. Not a B&B, not a cabin, not a hotel… a little “home”. And that’s exactly what we felt as we crossed the entry way to the Snow Cottage… “At Home”. We could only stay for 2 nights, but oh we’ll be back! First the let start by... More

Where to begin.. I found this place on Living Social and booked a weekend trip to go with my girlfriend. We were driving from Boston so I called to let them know we'd be in later than the checkout time, probably around 9 to which Kelly (amazing!) said that would be fine - she left our check in information, a... WOW - my boyfriend and I spent two nights in the Rockwood Cabin, and it was lovely. The kitchen was small but perfect for our needs (we prepped ingredients in advance being the foodies we are), the double-sided fireplace was wonderful (heated up the space in minutes - it was COLD outside), the living room was very comfortable (a love... Updates since our last visit were much needed - and appreciated. It's not "fancy" by some standards, but it is clean, fresh, well maintained, dog friendly, has beautiful views and a good location. Works perfectly for us.

We bought a Groupon for this place and spent the weekend of the Geminid meteor shower at the Rockwood Cabin. It had a small kitchen with a stove top, microwave, mini-fridge, and fully stocked with cooking and baking utensils. A double-sided fireplace warmed the living room and bedroom at the same time, and there was a jacuzzi. The only problem... More

I'm so happy to read that you had a good time here in your cottage and the timing for the meteor showers was perfect! Also, I'm happy that you were able to snag such a great deal on Living Social. We've worked really hard to upgrade all the cottages and rooms to a high level for a more luxury feel.... More

We stayed in the Snow Cabin at the lodge, and it was excellent. Kelly the manager went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we wanted. The cabin was exactly as advertised, and was a perfect layout for us. The location was perfect, just a minute outside of town and right next to Mt.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Snow Cottage for one night for a special occasion. The cottage was roomy, had great finishings, a fluffy bed and the layout was perfect for a couple. The general manager Kelly took great care of us. She even took the time to put heat pads and Epsom salts in our room because she... More
